Y&R Update 8/19 - 8/23

Monday 8/19: The newlyweds step away to have a few moments as husband and wife. Celeste informs Rey that Adrian is there and Rey confronts him. Adrian asked Rey if he's going to ruin his sister's day by arresting him. Celeste then interrupts the newlyweds happy moment ny apologizing for her antics and accepting Kyle into the family. Victoria was congratulating Jack on the new addition to the Abbott family and Ashley sharing the good news of the Abbott merger, Billy kills the vibe by expressing his feelings of hate against the merger then storms off. Victoria follows and wonders what's gotten into him (family can ruin a happy moment). Speaking of ruining happy moments, Rey continues to question Adrian of why he decides now to show up, not accepting the response that Adrian wouldn't miss his daughter's special day then guess who appears out of nowhere, Arturro. Adrian laughs thinking the brothers are going to team up against him. Off in the cut, Theo arrives and Phyllis approaches him, he tells Phyllis to pretend that she hasn't seen him. She walks away saying that she didn't know he was there.

Rey explains to Arturro that he is trying to get rid of Adrian before Lola sees him. Rey snaps on Adrian that he has barely laid eyes on Lola before the wedding and he should've taken the hint that she didn't want him there when he didn't receive an invite. Adrian pleads to Arturro about how he has reached out for forgiveness and no one wants to forgive him (you know the whole woe is me) and Arturro falls for it! Arturro suggested that they tell Lola he's there and let her make the decision whether he stays or not. Rey obliges and tells Adrian that they will tell Lola he's there and if she wants to speak with him, they will let him know. Later, Mariah lightens the party vibes by announcing Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Abbott. Everyone seems to be happy and celebrating while Summer is still looking butt hurt and sad. Elsewhere, Billy decides to leave and Victoria said she will cover for him. Back in the reception, Lola greets Arturro and is glad that he's there but she notices something is off but before he could tell her that their no longer absentee daddy is present, Abby announces that it's time for the bride and groom's first dance. Before they dance, Kyle thanks everyone for coming and Lola says a few words and they continue to dance. Phyllis checks on a sad Summer and tries to cheer her up. Abby invites everyone to dance with the couple, Phyllis drags Summer on the dance floor, Nate takes Abby by the hand, Traci questions Victoria of Billy's whereabouts. After the dance, Summer congratulates Kyle and Kyle asked if they can start this next chapter with a clean slate. She gets emotional as she is trying to accept Kyle's offer then runs off. As Kyle is trying to take in Summer's reaction he turns to see an uninvited Theo arrive to the reception with a plus one. Rey and Arturro continue to drag things out regarding Adrian but have a civil brotherly talk, Rey asked about Mia and the baby then comments how he was looking forward to being a father. Arturro played it cool by letting him know that everyone is good and tells Rey that he will need him when he falls short in parenting. Later Jack gives a great toast to the family, Celeste follows up for the Rosalez family. Lola sees Theo and questions Kyle about him crashing the wedding with a date. Kyle goes to confront Theo and Theo reintroduces Kyle to Zoe. Meanwhile, Lola notices that Rey drags Celeste off to the bride's makeshift dressing room/tent and she follows. She overhears her family telling someone to leave, she does the slow walk into the tent and Adrian greets her like he's daddy of the year. Lola asked Adrian why he was there then he shares that he wanted to see his daughter on her big day. The family all comes together to tell him that today was not the day. Rey grabbed Adrian and was about to throw him out but Lola said that she wanted to speak to him alone. Adrian starts talking about how his heart was filled with joy when he saw her walking down the aisle and he begs for forgiveness. Lola tells him that she will not be fake and welcome him with open arms. Celeste tries to break things up but Lola tells them that she doesn't care if he stays but that she can't do this right now and she leaves. Back to Kyle and the party crashers, Zoe tells Kyle that she is doing good and that she apologized for her father and his get rich quick scheme. Kyle apologizes to Zoe for that night and then Theo tells Kyle, "see, all is good. You don't have to carry the guilt of that evening anymore." At this point Kyle is furious and tells Theo that he can go. Theo tells him that he wasn't there to cause any problems and that they will leave. As they're leaving Phyllis stops Theo and wants to know what was going on and if her daughter will be affected. He tells her that he will tell her later then leaves. Lola approaches Kyle wanting to know if things are okay since she saw Theo leave and then she shares about her own party crasher. Abby attempts to make small talk with Arturro but when the conversation was about to go left, Nate came to the rescue. Celeste is stressing out about Adrian being at the wedding but Jack comes to the rescue which Ashley and Traci watching from a distance. It's time for the bouquet toss! Lola tosses the bouquet, no one dives for it, and it lands in Abby's hands. She then tosses it to Summer who then tosses it Phyllis who tosses it to Ashley when it FINALLY lands in Mariah's hands. Mariah accepts and her and Tessa celebrate with kiss. The celebration is coming to an end and the family sends the couple off using bubbles. How cute.

While the reception is taking place, Billy finds the time to follow Adam around. Their first destination is the coffee house where Adam is confronting Michael (I'm sure this is about the custody issue the the restraining order that Big Man Vic put in place). Billy is listens in on their conversation while hiding on the patio. Adam is telling Michael that things will be done his way then leaves. Billy takes this opportunity to confront Michael, wanting to know what's going on and wondering if Kevin has anything to do with this. Billy starts to put things together but Michael plays it cool and tells Billy to stay out of it. Later Billy is home on the couch asleep when Victoria comes storming in wondering where he has been and if he had another episode. Billy assures her that he is fine and that he just needed some time alone. Victoria shares that she felt that there was some behind the scenes drama going on at the wedding but that she didn't stay to find out but she has heard that Michael is running for district attorney and it all seems kind of strange especially with him working for Adam. Billy has curious look on his face.

Tuesday 8/20: Adrian shows up to the coffee house and begins to flirt with Sharon when Rey comes and interrupts. Sharon calls out Rey for being rude and Adrian commented that she knew his son then Rey drags him off to the patio. Adam is sitting in the park reading the news on his tablet and sees an article about Michael running for District Attorney. Michael and Lauren on the the GCAC rooftop having a cocktail and Lauren wants to know why he decided to run for D.A. and wants to know if Adam had anything to do with this. Michael admits that yes Adam has something to do with it, if he becomes D.A. he can no longer work for Adam. Lauren feels in her spirit that something is up as they're talking Phyllis and Summer stroll in and they all share pleasantries. Michael leaves the group to take a call and Phyllis and Summer discuss the wedding and how well Summer handled it. Kyle and Lola are in paradise somewhere, still in bed, enjoying the first 24 hours of wedding bliss.

Kyle and Lola are looking at cell phone pics from the wedding and discussing their feelings of their wonderful day. Then they discuss their wedding guest, including the daddy crasher. The newlyweds finally get dressed, still talking about wedding guest and when Lola brings up Theo and his guest, Kyle quickly changes the subject, kisses his wife then they leave to eat. After their meal, the Abbotts return to their room and Lola raves about how great the meal was then she looks at a pamphlet to see what they could do throughout the day but Kyle has plans of his own and he undresses his wife and tells her that all of that stuff will be there tomorrow and they do what newlyweds do.

Rey wants to know why Adrian is still in town. Adrian tells him that he is in between gigs and wanted to see his daughter. Rey calls him out about thinking he's about to cash in since Lola married into a family with money. Adrian talks about how he never wanted to leave his family and that their mother threw him out. Then Adrian throws a dig at Rey telling him that he has no room to talk since his ex wife is having a baby by his brother then the two start to fight but are separated by Celeste. Adrian talks about how much Rey is a hot head and Celeste tells him that they are just alike and Rey is listening to their conversation from inside. Later, after Adrian leaves, Rey talks with Celeste and she shares her history with Adrian, Rey asked if she is still in love with him but she lets him know that it's over. She tries to change the subject by asking about the pretty blonde he was talking to and wanting to know if it was Sharon and he then shares that he doesn't want to talk about his love life. She tells him that he deserves to be happy and that he will one day.

While laying by the pool, Phyllis questions Summer if she has talked to Theo since the wedding but Summer doesn't want to talk about Theo, Kyle or Lola, she just wants to have a peaceful day. In the lounge area, Michael receives a call from the mayor about their future of working together. Lauren is concerned for Michael and what could possibly come about with his new position and Adam. She wants to know if Michael will protect her. Michael avoids responding by telling her that he's waiting on his largest donors to arrive and she needs a drink. While he's at the bar getting refills and thanking voters, Adam walks in. He walks over to congratulate Michael, Michael tries to make a run for it by saying that he needs to get to his wife but Adam stops him. Phyllis is watching the awkward encounter from afar. Michael and Adam step aside to talk and Adam informs him that he unofficially contributed to Michael's campaign and made sure that no one ran against him. Michael is not pleased with Adam's actions but when Adam gives a short congratulatory speech, Phyllis interrupts. She comments on how he sold the hotel to Abby then thanked him for it and tells him that she convinced Abby to buy it. They move their convo away from the door and to bar, meanwhile Michael is tells Lauren that it's time to leave while he is glaring at Adam and they make an exit. But then Zoe comes strolling in and she introduces herself to Summer. Zoe tells Summer that she is the reason for her coming to GC and that she follows her on Social Media. She was hoping to talk to her at the wedding but that things got kind of weird. Over at the bar, Adam and Phyllis are still talking and she explains that she's there to spend time with her daughter. Adam comments that it would be great to spend time with his kids but that dear old dad is making things impossible by his restraining order. Phyllis tells him that Victor had a right to keep him from Christian and that Christian deserves to be with Nick. The she calls him out saying that the only reason he wanted Dark Horse and Chelsea was to get back at Nick and he's using Christian in the same way. She then asked him to list what he's happy about but he has no words. She thanks him for selling the hotel and that she is happy with her life. Then she asked what happened to him and why his life is so sad. He tells her to buy her own drinks then walks away. Back to Summer and her fan. Zoe tells Summer that it was Theo's idea to bring her to the wedding and when she met Kyle things became weird and that Theo's feelings were hurt. Summer is giving a real side-eye and Zoe continues how she is grateful for Kyle and Theo taking her to the ER, how they saved her life and Theo has been nothing but good to her. Summer stops her then affirms that she's not mad at the guys, Zoe resumes by saying not at all then questions Summer's relationship with Theo but Summer tells her that they had some fun but that is about it. Then the snake, I mean Theo, comes strolling in. He sits behind the ladies to listen in on their convo. Zoe says that she enjoys GC and suggest that they hang out. Summer declines by telling her that she is spending the day with her mother. Theo then pops up and Suggest that they all go to lunch together but Zoe tells him that Summer is spending the day with her mother, he tells Summer to tell Phyllis hello then he leaves. Phyllis joins her daughter but Summer receives a text from Jack and she has to leave for a meeting.

Michael and Lauren go to the coffee house and he updates her on what's been going on with Adam. Michael tells him that seeking a position to take one down is unethical and it will be hard trying to take him down when there is no physical evidence. They talk about how vindictive Adam is and why Michael chose to go down this route and how Kevin was involved. Michael promises to keep Lauren up to date with things.

Sharon is walking in the park when she receives a call from Adam asking to meet with her and that it's important. She says okay but all he has is 5 minutes. Adam arrives to the park and asked Sharon to marry him. The Y&R ends leaving us hanging with no response. UGH!

Wednesday 8/22: Victoria comes home to see Billy working hard at the table, he forgot to pick up Johnny from daycare. She expresses concern for his behavior lately but he snaps that everything will be okay. Sharon and Adam are still at the park and she tells Adam that he must be out of his mind regarding his marriage proposal. Adam appeals to Sharon's soft side and tells her that she can be herself with him but Sharon let's him know that she knows what she wants and how is he so sure it's him. Theo goes to visit Devon when he receives a text from Summer with a pic of her and Zoe asking if he was free later and he responds by telling them to have fun. Devon offers Theo a job at LP but Theo counters with Mariah's position at Power Communications (this devil here). The Jabot staff are having a meeting at Society trying to discuss business but Summer is distracted by her phone. Billy arrives late and immediately speaks against the ideas at the table then again makes his feelings of disgust regarding the merger known. Summer and Abby make an exit once they see Billy flipping out. Billy pretty much lets Ashley know that he doesn't trust her but Jack sees that his behavior is more than his dislike about the merger and wants to know what is really going on.

Billy tells Jack that he shouldn't trust Ashley but Ashley comes to her defense and throws all of Billy's bad business behaviors back in his face. Jack asked Billy if his behavior is due to their talk they had the other day. Billy is mad that Jack said that (even though Jack didn't say anything specific) and he tells Jack that he will be put on his list of people not to trust. Jack visits Victoria to discuss Billy and they talk about his struggles with Adam. Victoria shares her worries. Later Jack goes to the GCAC Rooftop and he met with Celeste. They discuss the wedding and Celeste shares how Adrian wants her back but after seeing the love that Kyle and Lola shares, she wants that kind of love. Jack understands how she feels. They talk about love and past relationships, just enjoying each other's company.

Theo list how Mariah is good and all but before he could continue Devon cut him off and tells him that he appreciates him being hungry for the business but let me tell you how I run things. He doesn't allow anyone to down talk anyone, if he wants to work under Mariah he can approach her but that's about it but then he asked why he's so interested in Power anyway.

Summer rejoins her mother on the GCAC rooftop and she discusses Zoe and the text convo between her and Theo. Phyllis wants to know why she cares since she broke up with him. Then Phyllis gives her thirsty daughter some good advice, move on your terms, not his.

Sharon wants to know what has caused Adam to come to her, did Chelsea turn him down and break his little hear. Adam admits that he tried to put his family back together, that chasing Chelsea was the wrong thing to do and that he knows Sharon and that they belong together, they need each other. Sharon tries to tell him that he doesn't know her anymore but you can see that Adam is breaking her down. Lord help this child....please don't let her fall for this game. Sharon shares her past with Adam since he's been gone and how she almost hit rock bottom. She explained how she found new purpose and being a great mother and how her break up with Rey is affecting her child. Adam has a comeback for every excuse that she has. She tells him that since Adam has been back she has been making mistakes and she refuses to put her life back into a chaos. Adam tells her how he wishes he was there for her in the past to comfort her then he brings up their recent night of love making and she tells him that night was a mistake. She admits that she allowed herself to fall into bad patterns because she cares but she wants to know why he wants to go backwards. They agree that they have a passionate love and Adam is now more excited to know that Sharon has been thinking about him. He feels that being with Sharon he can let everything else go. Sharon jokes if this is another one of his manipulating schemes but he expresses how she is the one she wants. Welp, we see how this will end....hope they just go to the court house. Sharon shares how Adam has hurt her in the past and caused a lot of heartache and pain. Adam admit that he's a flawed man but then turns around and says that he's not trying to pressure her and wants ther to think about it then get back to him then he leaves. Sharon walks the park recalling the talk and you can see she is really contemplating on marrying this man.

Billy meets up with Phyllis at Crimson and wants to know why he wanted to meet with her. He wants to know what Adam is up to but Phyllis lets him know that her and Adam had a falling out. Billy starts to list how bad a man Adam is then Phyllis comes to the ultimate defense and wonders how everyone in GC has done something bad but only she and Adam are considered outcasts. Billy somewhat defends people even Chelsea who lost her husband but came up rich in the end then he congratulates Phyllis on holding grudges. He then reminds Phyllis that Adam is the one who killed his daughter, continues to cause havoc on others and he needs to pay. He warns Phyllis to get on the right side then he leaves her at the table with a sense of worry and fear.

Theo runs into Mariah at the GCAC rooftop and immediately brings up Power Communications. He expresses his desire to work with her. She sees that he's up to something. Theo explains how he could help Mariah, she relaxes and shares that running this company is a lot. Then Theo shares how he can make the business grow and help her, blah blah blah but Mariah was ready and came at him with his real plans on taking over. Yep she saw right through it and he wasn't ready. She looks over his shoulder and tells Summer that she can have him now then she walks off. Go Mariah!! On the other side of the the rooftop Phyllis is talking to Adam trying to rub it in that she was able to get the money to buy the 20% share in the hotel. She then tells him her plans on how she will take over the hotel from Abby but as she was sharing her little secret Victor was in the cut watching. After their discussion Phyllis then goes off in the cut and gives Chelsea a call leaving her a message about a business opportunity (guess she really didn't have the money that she was gloating about). Summer confronts Theo about his wedding crashing stunt but Theo defends his behavior by saying he was just trying to help Kyle. Summer shares that she warned Kyle that he would be up to something then Theo said that he knew and that's why they will be good together. They like living on the edge and then they kiss.

Victor goes to Society to share with Abby Phyllis' plans and he tells her to be careful, that Phyllis is a dangerous lady. Abby shares that he has given her a lot to think about.

Sharon goes to Adam's, she stands outside his door trying to decide if she wants to talk or not but then Adam opens the door smiling but she stands there with a stern look. AND AGAIN, this is how Y&R ends today's episode. I guess we will find out before this week is over whether her stupidity is about to reveal itself.

Thursday 8/22: Chelsea meets Phyllis at the coffee house and Phyllis pretends to be all smiles and laughs and Chelsea already knows something is up. Nick visits his father at Newman and he thanks him for the restraining order keeping Adam from Christian. Sharon tells Adam that she can't marry him and Adam is smiling because she said she can't and not no and Sharon is confused. Adam pushes and tells her to be honest with herself and she knows she wants him. She starts to list reasons why she can't marry him but he has a come back for everything she says. She snaps and tells him that she can't be the one to fix him and that he has to want it for himself. She said that she has grown up and she loves herself and family more than to go down this path. He told her that she hasn't grown up enough if she can't admit that she wants him (you see, that right there should've been enough for her to walk out the door but no, she stays). He eventually plays like he's mad and irritated then asked her why she showed up to tell him no, she could've called or sent a text. Sharon does set herself up for these moments.  Kyle and Lola get rained out from their outdoor activities and they immediately think of bedroom activities.

Lola and Kyle enjoy their rained out moment under the sheets and they talk about all of the endless possibilities that have in store for them in marital bliss.

Chelsea is taking her sweet time getting coffee and purposely making Phyllis wait (her petty is real, lol). She finally sits with Phyllis and wants to know why they're meeting up. Phyllis throws out her business pitch of the Grand Phoenix Hotel and speak of all it's perks. Then Phyllis said that she need a loan to make it happen. Chelsea comments that everyone must have turned her down and that's why she's coming to her. Phyllis says yes then explains that Abby has controlling interest then Phyllis pleads by saying that she should do it for her husband and child. Chelsea told her that she will think about it. After Phyllis left Chelsea called Nick for advice on Phyllis' business proposal. Later Chelsea goes to visit Abby about the hotel. Abby questions if Phyllis came to her for the money. Then Abby shares that she doesn't need the money, she just wanted Phyllis to come with money so that she knows that she is serious. Chelsea said bump Phyllis, she wants the opportunity for herself.  Chelsea feels that this is a great opportunity for her to get back to working and making a name for herself. Abby accepted and told her to be careful once Phyllis finds out. Chelsea doesn't care. Chelsea came with the ultimate petty! So I guess Chelsea left then guess who shows up to see Abby, Phyllis. She tells Abby that she landed a lender and it's Chelsea. Abby tells Phyllis that she no longer needs the money, she's rescinding her offer and that she has found someone to manage it. As Phyllis is emotionally begging to know the what, why, how and who. Chelsea comes from the back of the restaurant and stands next to Abby smiling from ear to ear and Phyllis responds by saying "this bitch" (haaaaaa, now that was funny). Phyllis pleads to Abby about how it should've been them two but no she wants Chelsea. Abby reminds Phyllis of her words about putting her out of business Phyllis tried to deny the words but Abby let her know that Victor overheard her. Phyllis responds by telling both ladies that they will regret this then leaves. Abby lets Chelsea know that she will be keeping her eyes on her but Chelsea lets her know that she has nothing to worry about and they are excited to do business together.

Adam questions Sharon about who she truly loves, who values her, who loves her passionately and makes her feel cherished and wanted. He goes on to tell her that she lives her life to please other people and get nothing in return. He wants to give her the life that she deserves yada yada yada then pleads for  her to say yes. She said no, with tears in her eyes, and that she came to let him know that she's happy with her life and Adam is disappointed but it doesn't stop him from begging. Sharon tells her that she can't live a toxic life. He tells her to face the truth that is right in front of her, they belong together and she knows she felt that way when she was in his bed. He tells her that she has a dark side and she can face it and to stop caring about how the world views her. She snaps back that she doesn't care what the world thinks of her. Then he figures it out, he calls her out by telling her that she cares how Nick feels, she doesn't want Nick to know how she really feels about him. Sharon said that she didn't say this was about Nick and that her decisions are based off of him. He goes on to belittle her regarding Nick and she told him it's that right there, he doesn't know her. He tells her to get out and go to her safe, dull life. She leaves and Adam is super angry by throwing and breaking stuff.
Well maybe she is strong after all. I guess Adam needs to find another way to get his son and to get under Nick's skin. No wedding bells like I thought. Later as Adam is reeling in his anger he receives a call from Chelsea. She tells him that she thinks it's time that they get something straight once and for all. Adam tells her that he is not in the mood to fight over Connor today, she tells him that she doesn't want to fight either. She wants meet so that they can discuss a good plan for their son. He tells her to name the time and place.

Nick and Victor continue to talk, Nick appreciates what his father is doing for him, Nick invites him on his visit with Christian and Victor is happy to go. Later, Phyllis comes storming into Victor's office when he asked if he could help her she slams his door and attempts to go in on him about going behind her back and sabotaging her and that he will have to deal with her now. Victor isn't phased by herm he just sat behind his desk looking at her like "are you done." Victor tells Phyllis that if she wants to blame someone then she should look in the mirror. Phyllis tries to tell him that he had no right to tell Abby anything, Victor reminds her that Abby is his daughter and he has every right to protect her and if it was a stranger he'd tell the stranger not to do business with her either. Phyllis comments how everyone in the town is against her then Victor reminds her of her actions by throwing his wife and daughter under the bus is what made her and enemy. Phyllis tried to defend herself by saying that she was trying to help. Phyllis tried to call him a cult leader but he reminds her that he protect his family, you don't cross a Newman. Phyllis threatens Victor that when she is done with him, he will lose everything and to never underestimate the power of a woman that has nothing to lose. He tells her to bring it on.

Sharon walks into the GCAC Rooftop lounge distracted by her phone when she bumps into Nick. She apologizes but Nick clearly sees she's frazzled and wants to know what was wrong. He asked what has her shaking, she said she can't talk about it but Nick said "Adam" and she wanted to know how he knew. Nick tells her that only Adam can make someone that upset and wanted to know what he did now. Sharon tells him that Adam proposed and Nick was taken back but Nick told Sharon what she already knew, how Adam will try to appeal to her soft side and list a bunch of reasons why she should say yes but Sharon let Nick know that she said no. Nick wants to know what has her so upset then and Sharon shares that it was something that Adam said, Adam said that they were just alike. Nick lets her know that she is nothing like Adam. Sharon is upset that she let Adam get to her like that, Nick tells her that this is not her fault, she was doing what she does best, she tries to save people. Nick tells Sharon how good of a person she is, they hug. While they're hugging, Chelsea and Adam walk in to see it. Both look displeased. This is all Adam needs, he's about to use this to get Chelsea back.

Friday 8/23: After Chelsea and Adam saw and Sharon all hugged up on the couch, Chelsea said let's get out of here and Adam followed. Sharon apologized to Nick for hugging him but of course he's okay with it. The Rosalez brothers and their mother are at Society meeting up to hash things out before Arturro heads back to Miami. Mariah and Tessa take a couples stroll through the park, talking about each other's day and business. They're both having a tough day and Mariah thinks that she can fix that. Lauren and Michael happily stroll into Crimson Lights then Victor comes in and sarcastically celebrates Michael's win as District Attorney and expressed his curiosity of how he'll use his newly elected power.

Michael explains to Victor that he intends to uphold the law but Victor questions why Michael left his cushy job to serve as D.A. Victor brings up Christian's custody battle and Michael dropping Nick and he wants to know what Adam has over him. Victor makes a point to enforce that when things go down, just make sure that he's on the right side. Then he congratulates Michael and leaves. Lauren is not happy that Michael has been DA for only 5 minutes and already has an enemy. But she said as hard as it is, she will be patient and trust him. Michael has to leave and he uses work as an excuse.

Chelsea and Adam go back to Adam's place. Adam questions if Chelsea was jealous about what they saw and Chelsea lets Adam know that it was just a hug that they saw and that she and Nick are not together. Adam doesn't believe her and tries to make fun of her boring life with Nick but Chelsea claps back that maybe he's questioning her because he's trying to mask his own hurt feelings. He angrily snaps and says that he and Sharon have nothing going on and Chelsea sees that she's hit a nerve and she decides to play on it. Chelsea talks about Adam's vulnerability and he gets big mad, lol. Chelsea tells him that they both want to know what drew Nick and Sharon together like that, then she asked was it him. Adam made a comment that he talked to Sharon about the two of them and Chelsea sees that it all makes sense but Adam doesn't want to talk about it. Chelsea goes in that he must have pushed too hard which caused her to run to Nick and wants to know what his next plan of action to get at his brother. Chelsea gives Adam a hard talk, Sharon ran to Nick, Victor is supporting Nick, Christian wants Nick and Nick is still standing and Adam is jealous of that. The reason why Nick is still standing is because Nick earns the respect from others, he doesn't demand it or make it a competition. Adam tries to defend his actions by saying somethings are a competition and that he deserves to be with Christian  yada yada yada but Chelsea snaps that he makes everything revolve around him by trying to control and manipulate people and all that's doing is pushing them away. Doing all of this is not going to get him what he really needs, which is love. She leaves him standing there at a loss for words. Go Chelsea, but we all know that Adam isn't listening.

Sharon expresses to Nick that she was embarrassed for throwing herself in his arms and doesn't want him to think that she was making a move. Nick lets her know that he didn't turn down the hug and he doesn't think she's making a move. Sharon continues to apologize and said that she won't be running to him every time she has a problem because she wants to respect he and Chelsea's relationship. Nick kindly lets her know that he and Chelsea does not have anything going on and that he's just letting her and Connor live there while she works things out. Sharon looks intrigued then lets him know that she doesn't want to make things awkward and that they should go back to being the friends they were and Nick replies my saying that he doesn't want to go back. Now I am confused....how did a hug lead to  more than friendship?? Nick explains that there has been a lot of tension lately because of Adam and Sharon hates the walls that were created because of Adam as well. They talk about how Adam affected her relationship with Rey and how Adam only cares for himself. Nick hopes that Sharon truly sees who Adam is and suggest that she stays away. They solidify their friendship all over again. Later Nick meets up with Christian and the nanny for a visit. Christian expresses that he misses being home with his father. Victor later joins their playtime. Some time later during their playtime, Adam pops up in the distance looking all salty that his brother and daddy are enjoying some time with his biological seed. As Nick and Victor are talking about happy family moments that they're going to share, Adam shakes his head and was about to approach but Victor looked up, shook his head no and pointed for him to move on and he made sure that Nick and Christian didn't notice. That man Vic is smooth.

Arturro extends more apologies for what happened with Mia and he believes that he deserves to be happy and hoped that it would've been with Sharon. Rey responds that he wanted to be happy as well but that he's good and that Arturro shouldn't be worried about his big brother, Rey should be worried about him. I guess that's Rey's way of accepting his apology. Celeste is happy that her sons have made peace. Arturro says his goodbyes and heads back to Miami.

Mariah and Tessa relax on the GCAC rooftop, enjoying their day. They're looking through pictures of the wedding and talking about happy times....they're so boring right now.

Chelsea runs into Sharon at Crimson Lights and Chelsea lets Sharon know that she is surprised to see since she was just on the rooftop all hugged up on Nick. Sharon explains that it was just two friends hugging and Nick being supportive and wonders why it concerns her why she is so worked up about it. Then Sharon assumes it because she wants Nick since she's not acting like the grieving widow. Chelsea felt real disrespected by Sharon's comment and she defends her love for Calvin then verbally attack Sharon with ALL of Sharon's last names and wonders why Sharon is all fixated on her relationship with Nick. Sharon tells her it's because of the way she left Nick and she doesn't want to see him hurt again. But Chelsea thinks that Nick needs protection from Sharon. Oh how the exes fight. They continue to go back and forth over their relationship with Nick trying to one up each other but then they come to an agreeable moment and twisted sisterhood. Chelsea admits to Sharon that Adam was with her when she saw her hugged up with Sharon. Chelsea tells Sharon that Adam seemed hurt when it came to Sharon but wouldn't tell her what was up. Chelsea shares her convo with Adam and Sharon has a reaction which causes Chelsea to believe that Sharon has strong feelings for Adam that she doesn't want to admit to.

Michael arrives at the police station wanting some one on one time with Rey. Michael gives Rey a warrant that he wants him to personally handle and that he needs to keep it under wraps and not discuss it with anyone. Rey looks at the warrant crazy, tells Michael he understands, then goes about his way to arrest someone....which we will find out shortly. Later, back at the station, Rey tells Michael that his person put up a little struggle but they're in the interrogation room waiting for him. Before Michael could go into the room, Kevin comes out of nowhere and punches his brother in the face and asked how he could do that to him. Next we see Chloe in handcuffs.

OOOHHHH, how will the residence of GC react to know that Chloe is alive?? How will she be used to take down Adam?? I can't wait to find out.

Y&R Update 8/12 - 8/16

Monday 8/12: Abby and Phyllis meet up at Society to meet up on plans regarding Abby's restaurant at the new hotel when Theo shows up. He makes a comment about being surprised to see Abby early based on last night's events. Phyllis is curious to know what happened. Chelsea called Nick to inform him that things were okay as of now and for him not to worry (you know since she stayed the night with Adam) as they were on the phone, Connor and Adam come down the stairs talking so she ended the call. Connor is trying to understand and comprehend everything with Adam, Chelsea sends him for breakfast and Adam thanks Chelsea for allowing him to see him. Chelsea said that it may be good for them to see each other and Adam tells Chelsea that he will not mess things up. Adam then suggest that the 3 of them spend the day together and Chelsea agrees. They talk about how they should move forward, putting Connor first. Then Adam kills the vibe by asking for Connor to live with him. Victor is at Newman in his office when he begins to get light headed and you can see the worry of his face.

Abby thought they were there to talk business, Theo throws shade and brings up Summer and now Phyllis is really curious so she sent Summer a text. Phyllis finds out what happened and then tried to come for Abby but Abby reminded Phyllis that she is the queen of unprofessionalism, then Theo added how this drama could be good for business and the women give him a side-eye. Abby brings up Theo's actions from the night before and they bicker but Phyllis stops them, dismisses Theo by giving him an assignment, Abby tells Phyllis that she can't trust him and she doesn't know why Lola even invited Summer knowing that she would do nothing but cause trouble and Phyllis accuses Abby of being jealous of Summer. Then the 2 women argues about Summer and Phyllis makes a comment that she doesn't think that she wants to do business with someone who doesn't have respect for her and Abby reminds her that 99% of the town doesn't respect Phyllis then Phyllis storms off mad.

While big Vic is behind his desk, Nick drops in and they discuss Nick's new business. Nick tells his father that Victoria actually did the deal but Big Vic wants to know why he turned down Victoria and Nick shares that he doesn't want to send the message of hate and revenge to his kids then Nick asked for the slate to be wiped clean between them both, Vic agrees then the convo switches to Vic's health and Nick's custody battle with Adam. Victor is regretting his decision to bring Adam back from Vegas. Victor says that he needs to take action and tells Nick that it's best that he not know. Later Big Vic makes a phone call telling someone to put a rush on things and that his grandson's future is at stake.

Chelsea tells Adam that she understands that they are bonding but she isn't allowing him to move in with him. Adam starts talking about how he has missed so much of Christian's life and how he needs him full time but Chelsea reminds him that is not her fault and she brings up the ways that Adam can ruin everything and she tells him that she will not let him turn Connor into the man that he is, a manipulative evil person. Adam wants to know if she really thinks he will hurt Connor like that and she reminds him what he is doing to Nick and Christian. Then Adam threatened to take her to court and Chelsea told him to bring it. Adam tries to bring up Chelsea's wrong doing but it's not phasing her. She pleads not to go down this path when Connor interrupts and see that something is wrong but Adam quickly calms him down by telling him that they are just sad that the visit is over and that they will see each other soon. Chelsea arrives home (Nick's) with Connor and he is upset about why they can't live with Adam then he tells Chelsea that she is trying to keep him and his father apart (the boy is already acting like his daddy). Chelsea is still arguing with Connor about why they can't live with Adam when Nick happily comes in to greet them, Connor backs away from Nick then tells Chelsea that now he understands why she wants to keep him from his father but when Chelsea tries to respond, the boy screams "I don't care" then storms off (that right there would get his little behind snatched up quick....you better watch who you talking to). Chelsea thinks she should go talk to him but Nick tells him that he needs time, he has a lot to process, he lost Calvin, he just found out his father is alive, he needs to make sense of everything and it doesn't help that Adam had time to get into his head over the night. Chelsea talks about how the night went, their bond and even how Adam had Connor's room all set up. She even saw a glimpse of the past. Chelsea talks about how Adam is a sociopath and she is running out of options to protect her son. Nick wants to know if she is planning on running again. Nick tells Chelsea that this time he understands if she leaves but Chelsea said that if she leaves now Connor will only find his way back and hate her more and she hopes that Adam's love for Connor is more than his anger for the world.

Devon was leaving his home when he runs into Adam at the elevator. They briefly get caught up but Devon makes a comment of being able to tell the difference between a truth and a lie, Adam responds that you have to trust your instincts then offers a business deal to Devon (I am sure that this has something to do with Nick's properties). They move the convo into Adam's apartment, they briefly talk about Neil then Adam suggest that Devon purchase the new hotel.

Abby goes to visit her dad at his office and they discuss Nate and how he's a good man. Abby told him not to get his hopes up because she doesn't know where they stand after last night. Abby shares that she and Summer got into it then she shares that she is working with Phyllis. Abby tells her father that she knows that he doesn't think she should trust Phyllis but that if she can work him him she can work with anyone. Vic has an encouraging laugh but offers advice to never turn her back on Phyllis. Then Abby shares that her biggest concern is working with Adam. Victor shares some regrets.

Phyllis and Theo are at Dark Horse going over ideas for the Grand Opening. Phyllis tells Theo that he needs to work on his people skills because she plans to own the hotel one day then Adam walks in. Theo excuses himself and Phyllis wants to know why Adam is so happy and he shares that he was able to spend time with his son Connor. Phyllis tells Adam that she is glad that he is in a good mood, Adam tells Phyllis that this is her last day, Phyllis responds that she is still working on the money to buy the hotel then Adam tells her that he offered it to Devon and Phyllis is shocked. Adam tells her that Devon didn't take the offer but for her to keep packing because Dark Horse is over. Phyllis tells Adam that he's nothing but a lonely man sitting on a pile of money. Adam corrects her by saying that he's a man sitting on a pile of money with 2 sons that will be watching from the top.

Tuesday 8/13: Lola is at home baking while Rey is visiting. The two are discussing the wedding. Phyllis went to visit Devon in his home regarding the hotel. Anita, Chelsea's mom, approaches Chelsea regarding Connor's behavior and the conversation switched to Chelsea wanting to know what her mother is up to. Adam is in the park waiting on a visit with Christian when he receives a text. Victoria and Billy are at home waiting on a response from someone but neither elude to whom it may be.

Phyllis questions Devon about his possible interest in the hotel and Devon explains all of the business reasons as to why he didn't purchase it and probably won't purchase it. Phyllis pleads with Devon, even bringing up Neil, and Devon let her know not to use his father's legacy that way. She apologizes then goes on to plead and beg but Devon shuts her down. Later Phyllis goes to Society and she apologizes to Abby for their previous encounter and pleads to go into business again. But Abby claps back all of the things that Phyllis said to her in their previous encounter but Phyllis tries to fluff over that then Abby realizes something is up and wants to know what she's up to. Phyllis explains that they would be lucky to work together and they can accomplish some really great things and Abby still ain't believing it. Abby realizes that Adam fired Phyllis and she is just looking for a job. Phyllis responds that she wasn't fired, she severed their working relationship but then she informed Abby that Adam is trying to sell the hotel and this would be a great opportunity for her and that she can run the place for her, then she list all of the ways she can help Abby make the hotel a buzz of the city. Abby said that she buy the hotel from Adam and she might keep Phyllis on as manager under one condition. Abby told her that she needs some skin in the game and to come up with 20%. Phyllis asked for time to come up with the money. Abby tells her that once she has cash in hand, come find her.

Rey and Lola continue to talk, Rey offers to help and will talk to Kyle. Lola excitedly shares the honeymoon plans and Rey loves on his sister and glad that she survived her accident. Later Lola is done baking and she and Rey continue to talk but this time they're talking about their mother and how Jack is planning to bring Celeste back to GC for the wedding. Rey comments how if they're mother shows up, she better not show up with a plus one. As he said this Lola was going through the mail and sees a letter written to her from their father. Lola reads the letter from her father, he apologizes, wants to be there for her on her wedding day but will respect her wishes. Lola cries and tell Rey that she can't do this. Rey reads the letter and tells Lola they she doesn't owe him damn thing. Lola agrees and she told him that if Adrian, their father, shows up she will call off the wedding. She talks about how she has been calling her mother over and over again but not getting an answering and now she is doing the same thing to her father. She goes on to say that she can't have her father at the wedding without her mother. Rey questions what she really wants.

Anita and Chelsea continue to talk and Chelsea is still suspicious of her mother and the fact that she turned the money down. Anita explained that she just wanted to do the right thing but Chelsea isn't falling for it and she said that she will seek for answers and won't stop until she finds out what Anita is up to then Anita admitted the Calvin left her something as well. Chelsea didn't believe it because Calvin was only civil with her mother, then Anita admitted that she stole some things and that Calvin was doing some non legit business dealings and he kept the money in a storage unit and not in the bank so when he passed, her and her lawyer kept the money. Chelsea questions the amount and the total off the books assets came up to $5 mil. Chelsea is upset because but her mother tried to say that she took to protect her and Chelsea dismissed her. Anita said that she will head back to Baton Rouge but still tried to explain to Chelsea that she was trying to protect her but Chelsea wasn't having it. Later Darrell, the attorney, shows up to Nick's, with bags of money that Anita told him to bring as a peace offering. Darrell also provides an addendum to the will including the storage units and its contents and she signs it. Chelsea looks at the suitcases and Darrell tells her that she may need to wash the money a few times and Chelsea responds that it's just like her mother. Chelsea gives Darrell one of the suitcases and tells him that it's for him and Anita to split. Darrell leaves a happy man.

Adam arrives at Victoria's and she informed him that Christian isn't feeling well. He asked if he could visit him there but Billy shut that down. Adam leaves but tells Victoria that he will contact her to reschedule the visit. After he leaves, Victoria was surprised that Adam took no for an answers but Billy tells her that they can't keep coming up with things to keep him from seeing Christian and the the courts will figure something out. But Victoria sees less time visiting as a small victory. Later, Billy and Victoria take the kids to the park (really, you just told Adam that his kid was sick and you take him out in public and the park at that). Victoria brings the kids ice cream as Billy leaves to head to the office and guess who pops up to see them all out having fun, yes Adam. The boys, Johnny and Christian, run to play and then Adam comes out of nowhere and starts talking to Christian. Then Adam tells him that daddy may look a little different with bruises but Christian takes off running. By this time Nick shows up and Victoria points out Adam. Nick confronts Adam and Adam responds that he's supposed to have a visit but that Victoria is playing games. While the Newman brothers argue, Victoria calls out for Christian but gets no response. The guys stop their argument and run to help her find the child. Nick is running all over the park looking for Christian, Elena was taking a run and offered to help but guess who found him, yep Adam, but Christian yells for him to go away. Adam apologizes for scaring him earlier, then Christian pops his head out. Adam pulls out the soccer ball and they begin to play (I mean he could have told the others that he found him). Nick calls out for Christian and he stops his play to look in Nick's direction and Adam looks defeated. Nick continues to call out and Adam responds to where they are, Elena arrives first then Nick and Christian yells Daddy to Nick as Nick swoops him up in his arms. They then leave Adam standing there alone as Nick says, see ya buddy. Adam stands there with another crazy look....what is he up to next.

Wednesday 8/14: Ashley arrives at the Abbott mansion looking for Jack but ran into her daughter instead. Jack went to Newman to visit Victoria but got Victor instead and he informs Jack that she is busy in meetings. Adam was at home when he received a letter from a carrier, went he opened it, the documents were court documents. He reviewed them, immediately called Michael and informed him that he got court papers stopping his visitation with Christian and on top of that there's a restraining order (ha ha). Devon and Elena arrive home from a morning run, Elena shares the events in park regarding Christian when she receives a phone call from Nate asking if she can meet him to talk. Lola is up staring at the letter from her father. She shares the letter with Kyle and she has made a decision regarding her father wanting to be at her wedding.

Lola explains to Kyle how the letter brought up a lot feelings and she doesn't want to be pulled back into the past by a man who has done nothing but disappoint her. Kyle comforts her by pretending to be at the altar and saying vows that he promises to never disappoint her and she plays his game by telling him that he can kiss the bride (how cute).

Devon walks a showered Elena to the elevator, once she leaves Adam opens his door and tells Devon that he was hoping to see his girlfriend and talk to her about the events at the park, for her opinion on the matter. Devon lets him know that she wasn't home but that they can talk, he would like to shed his light on something (oooh, Devon is salty). Devon warns Adam to stay away from Elena and that he doesn't need his girlfriend caught in the battle between him and his brother. Adam has his usual come back that he's not the bad guy, Nick is. Then Adam tells Devon about the restraining order and what Victoria did and that all he wants is a chance to be his father and how Nick is in the way. Devon claps back that he's only being selfish and not putting Christian's needs first, Adam tries to tell Devon that he doesn't know what he's talking about but Devon cuts him off and tells that he actually does know and he can either listen or he will leave (Devon can relate to Christian). Devon explains how he grew up without a father then to end up having two dads helped him become a strong man today. Adam talks back about how all of this can happen when he and his brother don't get along but Devon reminds him why they don't, it's because he started this whole custody problem. Adam whines again about the restraining order but Devon questions how Nick could pull that off when the judge removed Christian from his home and gave him supervised visitation. Then Adam has an aha moment and realizes that Nick doesn't have that kind of power, his father does.

Elena meets with Nate at Crimson, they briefly talk about Abby but Nate wanted to talk to Elena about a business opportunity at Memorial. Nate offers Elena a job as general surgeon resident since she hopes for her medical career. Elena appreciates Nate for the job offer and that she ready to make a decision. Later Elena arrives home, Devon informs her of his talk with Adam then asked about her meeting with Nate and she tells him about the job opportunity and that she is interviewing for it today. As Elena is getting ready for her interview, Devon is encouraging her and telling her that she would be a great doctor. He tells her that he will be waiting to celebrate when she gets back. Later after the interview, Elena arrives home excited that she got the job. Devon surprises Elena with her lab coat that he had dry cleaned for her and the two celebrate on the couch.

Jack is still at Jabot waiting and Victor wants to know why. The men talk and the convo shifts to the custody battle between Nick and Adam. The two talk pleasantly but Victor reminds Jack that this doesn't mean that they are friends. Jack shares some insight on the father/son relationships and that he should throw Adam a lifeline, that Adam is just trying to get his life back. Victor tells Jack that he tried and Adam didn't want it and that he has gone about things the wrong way and now it's time to teach him a lesson. Later Adam comes storming into Newman confronting his father about the restraining order then accuses his father for taking Nick's side. Victor corrects him and tells him that he's taking Christian's side. Adam accuses his father of hating him and allowing another man to raise him. Victor defends himself and tell him that it was his mother's doing and that he didn't want to drag him through a custody battle like he's doing with Nick. They argue about Adam's actions since he's been back then Adam sarcastically apologizes but Victor tells him no more chances. He gave him a second chance and he blew it. Then Adam asked if he regretted bringing him back and Victor responds by telling him, more than he knows. Victor tells Adam that he needs to get out of town, Adam tells him that he isn't going anywhere. Victor tells him that he will live to regret it. Adam responds by telling Victor that the hate in his voice will be his motivation to get his kids back and to get back at the family so he hopes that he's ready for this fight then he leaves.

Abby fills her mother in on her recent purchase of the hotel and working with Phyllis. Ashley warns her about working with Phyllis and the convo shifts to Abby's love life and Ashley hopes that her and Nate works out, Abby tells her not to hold her breath. Later Lola and Kyle arrive at the Abbott house and was greeted by Ashley followed by Jack. Jack and Ashley asked everyone their input on a new name for their business merger. They throw around ideas but Kyle defends the family name Jabot and the legacy behind it. Ashley and Jack agree to keep it, Jabot. They make a toast to Jabot and family. Abby asked if Ashley is moving back and Ashley lets her know that she will see more of her but that she is keeping her lab and office in Paris. Nate then shows up to talk to Abby. The two step away from the small family celebration to talk and Abby quickly pours her heart out to Nate and says that she is focused on having fun and not rushing into things and she can understand if he wants to see someone else. Nate asked her if she was finished? Nate informs her that he has been thinking about Abby, what is holding her back? What is her mystery? He went on to say that he doesn't want to rush into anything either, he wants to get to know her. Abby is happy that he's not breaking up with her and they agree to take it day by day. Back in the Abbott the house, the family continue to celebrate until Jack's car arrive to take him to the airport for him the head to Miami to get Celeste. He promises to not come back alone.

Thursday 8/15: Kyle is preparing to stay the night elsewhere the night before the wedding and Lola is teasing him about his superstitions. Lola admits that she's nervous and wants to keep him around and Kyle tells her that she is stuck with him forever. Summer meets up with Theo at Society and she jokes that Abby isn't around to start a fight. The two briefly talk about Phyllis and their elevator fun, then Summer questioned what was his speech all about at the joint party and wants to know what secret he is keeping. She threatens him with no sex until he tells (so typical). Mariah and Tessa are at Crimson watching a video when Sharon approaches them and they talk about the party as well as the video they were watching, it was Tessa performing at the party. The ladies apologize to Sharon for not telling her that it was a joint party. She accepts and then excuses herself to see customers on the patio when she runs into Rey.

Sharon and Rey have an awkward greeting, she offers him coffee, he accepts then asked her to join him. They sit and she tells him about the videos Mariah and Tessa are looking at, he asks about Faith and apologizes for not talking to her prior to moving out but Sharon tells him that she has spoke with her and that she understand and how it's all her fault. The conversation switches to Celeste and how Jack is in Miami trying to get her to come back and the risks Lola is taking by getting married. Sharon tells Rey that she believes in love and forever, Rey questions..even now? She nodded yes. Rey tells Sharon the history about his father and family and she responds that Lola will be a beautiful bride and have the wedding of her life. Sharon and Rey talk about the wedding and how they were supposed to be attending as a couple not as single people.

Kyle and Lola frolic around on the couch but Kyle stops before they get too far but Lola keeps seducing him. Kyle is being the strong one and attempts to leave but Lola tries her best to keep him there, even suggesting they put up a curtain to separate them. Kyle suggest that they stay on the phone all night while he's at the pool house. She finally accepts and he tells her the next time he sees her she will be walking down the aisle. They express their love for one another then he leaves. An anxious Lola goes to the coffee house and runs into Mariah and Tessa, they talk about the party and Lola gets frantic about the events from the party and looks at it like an omen. She continues to panic, showing wedding jitters and Mariah does her best to calm her down. They take a quick trip down memory lane, how the two fell in love with each other, and how they are meant to be with each other. Lola thanks the ladies for making her feel better and she tells them how Genoa City has changed her life, new job, new family, and she's happy.

Summer continues to beg to know what went on in NY and wonders why it's such a bad secret but Theo wouldn't budge. Then she said that she will do what she can to find out herself and then she will use it against him and Kyle herself. Theo tells a story about how a party girl crashed one of their parties, got completely wasted, and how they took her to the hospital, how they found out she was underage, and how they agreed to just drop her off at the hospital and leave. The day after her father showed up to their home threatening to go after them, he freaked out but Kyle handled it. Summer is intently in the story and Theo told him that Kyle paid the guy off, things went back to normal and now Kyle is a good boy in GC. Summer was shocked that the father took the money but then she tells Theo that he's holding a grudge because Kyle saved their asses. Theo is mad because he thinks that Kyle is trying to forget about the past and that they went through war together but Summer shut that down and told him that they just parties together and that Kyle has grown up and moved on but that he's still the same party guy and stuck in his ways and is disgusted that he is trying to destroy Kyle's relationship. Theo tries to clap back that she only feels that way because of her feeling for Kyle, Summer is now pissed then leaves.

Kyle goes to the park to check on how the wedding set up is coming along. As Kyle is making a few adjustments, Summer shows up. She tells Kyle how she is truly happy for him and Lola. Kyle understands how the wedding will be awkward but he knows that Lola will be happy to see her there and is looking forward to their friendship. He also mentions that he would be happy to see her there as well minus her plus one and she tells him that he has nothing to worry about. She tells him that Theo has some anger in him and that she thinks he should watch his back with him. Kyle agrees and thanks her for the heads up. She gives a few more compliments on him and Lola then leaves.

Mariah and Tessa are listening to Tessa's song again when Theo crashing their moment. Mariah and Tessa call him out on his bogus toast, he tries to defend himself by saying that he was trying to make things right. Mariah doesn't believe him so she tells him that she thinks NY is missing him and he should probably go back, then the girls leave him hanging. Theo decides to look up the girl from NY on social media (what is this boy planning to do). Lola arrives to the park and is in awe with the decorations and Kyle is surprised that she's there and a little bummed that she ruined the surprise. Lola is extremely happy and said that he is giving her the wedding of her dreams. She suggested that she leave but Kyle says not now then he turns on the lights and music and they have their last dance and kiss as an engaged couple. Sharon and Rey end their impromptu coffee date, she comps his coffee and he accepts. She wishes him luck as he walks his sister down the aisle.

Friday 8/16: It's Wedding Day!. Kyle was at the coffee house when he receives a call from Theo but he sends him to voicemail but Theo sends him a text asking if he had any final wishes. Kyle ignores him then goes about his way. Lola is getting glammed up with the support of Abby, Mariah, and Tessa. Lola shares her lovely night at the park with Kyle. Victoria and Billy are getting ready to leave for the wedding but Billy is preoccupied by his thoughts of Delia and his nightmares. Ashley and Traci are at the Abbott house raving about how things are going great for the Abbotts and welcoming a new Abbott into the family then a frantic Kyle walks into the house. Summer runs into Phyllis at the coffee house and Phyllis offers Summer ways to get through the day, movies, spa, tattoos but Summer has another idea.

Lola is in awe that she is celebrating this day with 3 best friends, ladies she didn't think she'd ever have and the ladies share how the will be her squad for life. The ladies present Lola with the ritual wedding day gifts. Rey shows up to give his sister some loving last words. They take a trip down memory lane that brought them to where they are today. They are grateful to have one another.

Kyle is frantic because he's worried about divorce and that not one Abbott has had a successful marriage and Lola is such a lovely woman who deserves the best. Ashley and Traci agree that Lola deserves everything and tells him he is the man that will provide it to her. The Abbott sisters tell Kyle to learn from the other's failed marriages and that he and Lola have already endured so much and they've made it through. They give him lots of advice to love, forgive, communicate, and create memories. Kyle eventually calms down and prepares for his wedding.

Summer shares that she is going to the wedding. She and Kyle have something special but that she really wants to support him and see him happy. Phyllis questions Summer if she feels this is the right thing to do and Summer said yes, she wants to be there and she will be on her best behavior then she asked Phyllis to be her plus one. Phyllis agrees.

The guest begin to arrive at the wedding, first with Billy and Victoria along with Devon and Elena. They are in awe with what Kyle has put together. Everyone else starts filing in and then Kyle joins the group, receiving much support for the upcoming nuptials. But then Jack arrives needing to speak to Kyle. Celeste surprises Lola in her bridal suite and Lola is so happy that she made. I guess Jack is a man of his word. Celeste loves on her children and apologizes for the way she left. Lola apologized for the way she treated her. Celeste tells them how Jack helped remind her of what great children she has and she tells Lola how happy she is that she (Lola) has found someone that adores her. Abby interrupts, is thrilled to see the Roselez family, but tells them that it's time to start the wedding. Lola asked her mother to walk her down the aisle with Rey and Celeste agrees. As Jack and Kyle get into their positions at the altar, Summer and Phyllis make an entrance and quickly takes their seat. The wedding officially starts with Abby making her way down the aisle. She looks into the crowd, smiles when she gazes into Nate's eyes but that smile quickly turns into a mug when she sees Summer. At that time, The Rosalez clan makes their way down the aisle. As Celeste and Rey give Lola away, Celeste sees the curtain move and she walks out to confront Adrian, Lola's daddy.....yes, she showed up. The ceremony is underway and Celeste is arguing with Adrian, he refused to miss his daughter's wedding and Celeste just wished he would've respected Lola's wishes and not showed up and to have the decency to leave. She goes back to her seat just in time for the couple to say their vows as Adrian watches from afar. The audience is all smiles while Summer is butt hurt and it's clearly showing on her face. Kyle and Lola Abbott were officially presented to everyone. What a cute way to end the week.

Y&R Update 8/5 -8/9

Since I have been slacking the past couple of weeks, I felt the need to owe you a really good breakdown for this week's Y&R. Enjoy!!

Monday 8/5: Phyllis goes to Adam's apt pleading to purchase the hotel for $10 Mil but he counters at $15 Mil cash up front knowing she didn't have it. She leaves sulking but runs into Michael. She questioned why he was visiting Adam but he didn't share so she leaves. Michael meets with Adam and Adam informs him that the petition he filed in court for visitation worked and his first visit with Christian is today. Michael had no doubt that his petition would work. Adam tells Michael that he will be his lawyer until he becomes District Attorney. Michael is not happy, gives Adam the court orders then leaves. Chelsea is at Nick's staring at her phone, when Nick walks in she shares that she is looking at her bank account, the estate money has been transferred. Chelsea thinks that people are going to talk about her marrying an older man due to her past and scamming people and people will hold that over her head. Kyle is at Society trying to work quietly, Theo rolls up as if nothing is wrong and tells Kyle that he is planning the ultimate bachelor party. Kyle is not having it and reminded Theo that their friendship is DONE and it's because of him running his mouth that Celeste, Lola's mom, has left town. Theo tries to dumb things down by saying how was he supposed to know that Celeste didn't know about Lola's surgery.

Kyle lets Theo know that all he knows is that he has ruined things and now his wife's mother might not be at the wedding and his fiance is not happy. Theo is still in dumb mode and is still wanting to throw a bachelor party for Kyle but when Kyle was about to lay it on Theo, Phyllis approaches the table and she tries to go in on Kyle about how she has to be there for a torn broke down Summer then she summoned Theo to sit with her. They sit at another table and he updates her on the opening buzz of Phoenix and Phyllis is happy about that but she then brings up Summer. She wants to know what is up between them. Theo says that she is feisty like her mother. Phyllis tells him that even feisty women choose bad men. They talk about Kyle, Lola, and Celeste. Phyllis shares that she is upset that Kyle manipulated her daughter and that she doesn't want to hear about saint Lola turning him into a better man. They go back to talking about Phoenix and Theo wants to know why she is making all of this money for Adam. Phyllis acknowledges that she is about to make some money but that she has something up her sleeve.

Adam arrives at the park with a soccer ball in hopes to meet Christian, instead he got an angry Billy. Adam is confused as to why Billy rolled up on him. Billy accuses Adam of breaking in his home and placing Delia's doll in Billy's bed. Adam tells Billy that he would never disrespect Delia's memory that way and would not torment him in that way then he tells Billy that he needs to leave because he's about to have a visit with Christian. Billy sarcastically tells him to enjoy the little time he has then leaves.

Chelsea rambles about what she should do with the money. Nick encourages her to do what makes her happy. While they're talking, Nick receives a phone call from Adam gloating about the petition, the new orders and that he has a visit with Christian today and that he will be telling Christian the truth, that he is his real father then he hung up on Nick. Nick is trying to track down Monique to stop the visit, Chelsea tries to intervene by telling him that he's playing right into Adam's hand but Nick isn't listening. These Newman men are hard headed.

Kyle meets Mariah at Crimson Lights to vent about Theo, Celeste, and Lola. Mariah shares that Theo has a case of arrested development and that the love that he and Lola have is strong enough to withstand Theo. Kyle brings up Phyllis and Summer but Mariah tells him not to worry about snowflake and her mother and that things will be fine. Mariah tries to calm Kyle down by saying that Summer will always be a drama queen and play the card as a heroine but that shouldn't stop him from moving on. Mariah's talk did work and she decided to be the to throw Kyle a birthday party. As she rambles how much fun it'll be she then suggest a co-ed bachelor/bachelorette party and Kyle loves the idea. Kyle appreciates Mariah for all she is doing, they hug it out then go their separate ways.

Chelsea runs into Billy at Society, they catch up...her living with Nick, staying in GC and Billy asked how much did she get from Calvin's death. Realizing the error in judgment, he apologized and said that he's having a bad day and that he shouldn't be taking it out on her. He then tells her that he is glad that she is with Nick right now. They continue to get caught up on life and Billy shares what's been going on regarding Adam, Delia and the nightmares. He wonders if Adam is really up to something. Chelsea tries to tell him that he wouldn't go that low when it comes to Delia because her death tore him up. But Billy doesn't believe it, he tells Chelsea that just because she changed doesn't mean that Adam did, then he left.

Nick walks in the coffee  house, sees Michael, then goes off on him, blaming him for the reason his son's life is about to blown apart. He tells Michael what Adam plans to do, Michael tries to apologize but Nick isn't having it and he wants to know why Michael turned his back on him and also wants to know what Adam has on him. Michael doesn't answer and Nick again throws the blame on him then storms out.

Christian arrives to the park with his nanny. Adam kicks the soccer ball with him and tells him that he was his age when his father taught him how to play soccer but at the time he didn't know that the man was his real dad (speaking on when he met Victor for the first time and a memory of the time was shown when Victor was in Kansas kicking a ball with Adam). The two continue to kick the ball around when Adam is setting up the kill to share the news that he is the real dad. He brings up Conner and tells him that he and Conner aren't just cousins, they're brothers that he is his real dad and Nick shows up just in time to hear it and see Adam embrace Christian. Poor Nick.

Tuesday 8/6:  Just after Adam told Christian that he is his father, Nick swooped in and interrupted the visit. He joked with Christian about how "uncle Adam" is telling jokes but Adam tried to insist that he was the real father and that's when Nick ended the visit altogether and asked Monique, the nanny, to take Christian to the coffee house. Kyle and Lola were at home getting heavy in the kitchen when Kyle informed her that Mariah is throwing them a joint party. At Crimson Lights, Mariah was informing Sharon of the wonderful party ideas when she receives a text from Adam asking for help. Back at the park, when Christian leaves, he turns to say 'bye daddy' and both Nick and Adam say 'bye son' in unison.

Mariah stopped by Devon's to ask him if she could rent out the rooftop of the GCAC for Kyle and Lola's party. Of course Devon says yes and then they spoke about Lola and doing more cooking videos. Devon loves them. As Mariah and Devon continue to talk about other things, Elena comes home from work. Mariah notices the happy couple and Devon confirms that they are indeed a happy couple.

Kyle and Lola stroll into the coffee house hand in hand and they run into Nate. They briefly talk about Lola's life saving surgery then they all went about their own ways but Kyle stays. Theo walks in and starts an unwanted conversation with Kyle by saying that he needs a list for the bachelor party. Then Theo goes on to tell him how much Phyllis hates him and that she has a fire lit up under her. Kyle warns Theo to back off. Theo ignores Kyle's rants/threats and asked again for the bachelor party invite list. Kyle tells him that he doesn't want him to throw him a party and they he doesn't want anything to do with him. Theo tells Kyle that he isn't buying into this new good boy routine and that mama Rosalez didn't either. Welp, he struck a nerve this time and Kyle told him to shut his mouth and to keep their past business about New York quiet. Now I want to know what this big secret in NY is???

At Society, when Abby was telling Tessa to send some food to another table, it sparked up some song ideas for Tessa. Tessa informed Abby on the joint party. Abby questions on whose idea it was to throw a joint party and how it sounds like something Mariah would come up. Just as Tessa was confirming that Mariah is throwing the party, Nate approached the two. Tessa dismisses herself and continues to work while Abby sulks to Nate about how she is the maid of honor and how she's being treated like a regular guest. Later, Mariah arrives to share the party planning ideas with Tessa when Abby comes up and throws shade about how she got left out. Mariah explains how it wasn't planned that way and how she was trying to make Kyle feel better. Mariah then asked Abby for some input if she has it but Abby is still angry and tells her nope then storms off. There goes the pissed off Maid of Honor, girl have some seats.

Nick asked Adam what the hell he was thinking about telling Christian that information and he could hurt him for it. Adam said that they boy didn't seem hurt, he was having a good time. The two argue about who is a good father and Adam informed Nick that he will continue to tell Christian that he is his real father every chance he gets. Welp Nick, looks like you're losing this battle. Nick starts to list all of the things that he's done for Christian and Adam told him that he was being a great uncle since he wasn't there. Then the argument turned to Victoria and Phyllis and how they were trying to scheme Adam out of his money, Nick and his exes and how they've lied to them and how Nick is the world's doormat, blah blah blah. Then they get back to arguing about Christian when Nick lays Adam out. Sharon comes running stopping Nick from beating Adam more. Nick angrily leaves and Sharon is surprised at Nick's actions.

At Jabot, as Summer was about to get on the elevator she bumps into Lola. Summer tells Lola that Kyle hasn't come in yet but Lola informed her that she is actually there to see her. Summer invites Lola to the party (umm, okay Lola). Summer tried to decline by saying that she thinks that she's going to be busy but Lola told her that she didn't even tell her when it was. Summer still tried to decline then asked why Lola wanted her there. Lola explains that Summer saved her life and she appreciates her for that, they don't have to be friends but she doesn't want any bad blood between them. Then she told Summer that she wants her there and Summer accepted.

Chelsea is at Nick's, well home for now, on the phone with Connor telling him how much she missed him and that once things are straightened out at home that they will be together soon. How long has this kid been at camp?

Nick runs into Monique and Christian at the coffee house. She apologizes to Nick but he lets her know it's okay and that he's trying to follow the rules but he needs to protect his son. He then checks on Christian to see if he's okay and Christian is fine because Nick is his daddy. Nick goes home to Chelsea and she places an icepack on his hand telling him that she should've been there for him. Nick gets angry when he realizes that he fell for Adam's antics and displayed such behavior and how this can hurt his case. Then he shared how Adam made sure that Sharon showed up to see it all fall out. The two continue to talk, Chelsea tells him that Connor is ready to come home but she doesn't know how to handle all of this with him. Nick tells her to bring him home and that they will deal with it together and that all of them together could help beat Adam at his games. Chelsea makes the phone call to her mother to tell her that it's time to bring Conner home.

Sharon takes Adam home and she insist that he go to the hospital about the cut on his eye but Adam said that he was okay. Not listening and wanting to be such the nurturing person, Sharon stays and fixed Adam all up. This girl is WEAK for this man. As she was playing doctor Sharon questions why Nick reacted the way he did. Adam tells him that Nick was just mad because he was having a visit and that she can even ask Monique (but he conveniently left out the part that he was telling Christian that he was the real daddy). Sharon tells Adam that she believes him because Nick has been filled with rage lately then she asked Adam why he didn't fight back and he responds that he has too much at stake. Adam asked Sharon for help to build a relationship with his son and Sharon said that she will do what's best for Christian. As she was still nurturing Adam's cut, Adam grabbed her hand, saw some blood then he apologized for dragging her into her mess and said that she literally has his blood on her hands. Then he suggest that she leaves but she responds that she doesn't need him nor Nick telling her what to do and that he needs her. He gets closer and said "Do I really need you" and he goes in for a kiss and they go at it and make their way to the bedroom. Well we see that she's over Rey.

Back at Devon's, the couple are relaxing on the couch and Devon is giving his lady a wonderful foot massage when the doorbell rings. Devon informs her that it was Nate coming back with dinner. Nate walks in and realizes that he is interrupting things but Elena insist that he stay. She grabs beers for everyone and Nate explains how Abby is confusing things with him, one minute she's inviting him somewhere and the next she wants nothing to do with him. They told him that things will work out.

Kyle visits Lola at work (Society) and she informs Kyle that she invited Summer to the party. Kyle is shocked and she informs him that she wants to get rid of the bad blood between them. Kyle hugs his lady and she tells him that they can't let anything come in between them. At Jabot, Theo runs into Summer wondering if she has seen Kyle. She tells him that he hasn't been in. Theo starts to talk about how Kyle is putting up a front of a good guy because of his new woman but Summer comes to Lola's defense by saying that she isn't bad person and that she even invited her to their party. Then Summer asked Theo to be her date only if things are good between him and Kyle. Theo has this devious look on his face and responds that it's nothing that they can't get past and that him going would be the perfect opportunity to clear the air. This boy is really up to something.......why does he want Kyle single so bad???

Wednesday 8/7: Adam comes downstairs after his love making session with weak Sharon only to call the police to report an assault. Phyllis is at the coffee house on the porch making phone calls trying to get money to buy the hotel. Rey and Billy are inside the coffee house talking about Adam and how he has manipulated Sharon and came in between Rey and Sharon's relationship. Billy told Rey that the Sharon he knew wasn't pining over Adam and that she was in love with him. As they ended their convo, Rey gets the phone call about the assault...oh yeah Rey is back with the police department. We see what's about to happen, Rey is going to arrive at Adam's to see Sharon probably wearing one of his shirts.  At Nick's Chelsea gets a phone call from Anita saying that the will be in Genoa City the next day and she is in a low key panic because of what's to face when he gets there. Chelsea encourages Nick to keep trying to let things go between him and Adam and that Adam is going to use that anger to discredit him. Billy goes to the Chancellor estate to find out if Delia is really haunting him.

Rey ends his phone call with the station and is looking forward to meeting the person who assaulted Adam. Later Rey arrives at Adam's (just as we figured) and Adam sarcastically says "they would send you here" but then he has a smirk on his face...we all know why. Adam doesn't let Rey in and request for another officer but Rey said that he was in the area so he took the call. They stand in the doorway as Adam gives an account to what happened then suggest that he immediately go arrest Nick. But Rey tells him that he must talk to Nick first. Adam tells him that there was a witness and Rey wants to know if he paid off this witness or if the witness was even real. Adam again suggest that there be another officer assigned to this case because things are too personal. Just as Rey was about to come for Adam, Sharon yells Adam's name and asked if he had any food in his fridge as she is coming down the stairs fixing her dress (I was almost right, lol) and Rey pushes past Adam and comes face to face with Sharon. Rey looks angry and Sharon is shocked. Rey comments that he takes it that Sharon was his witness and Adam tells Sharon that he called the police but didn't know that they would send Rey. Rey asked Sharon if Nick hit Adam, Sharon was about to attempt to explain her reason for being there but Rey doesn't want to hear it and just wants the answer to his question. She said yes very quietly and he storms out telling Adam that someone else would contact him. Adam tries to tell Sharon that he didn't set this up but Sharon blows up and tells him that he has torn her whole world apart and it has to end NOW...oh, so now she's mad..go figure. Sharon tries to leave but Adam grabs her purse and tells her that she can't leave until they talk. He again tries to tell her that he didn't plan for Rey to show up. She shares that she isn't going down this road with him again. He tells her that Rey is just mad because he loves her and that she doesn't love him but she told Adam that she does love Rey and that she needs to fix this. Adam told her that she doesn't need to fix anything and then he admits to wanting Sharon and she is all he wants and he wants to make her happy. Girl, please don't fall for this. Sharon tells Adam that he doesn't make sense right now and that when he got his memories back the only person he wanted was Chelsea. Adam responds by saying that he was trying to make sense of his life and the only thing he wanted was his son and that he wants her and she knows that she wants him too and that she needs to accept that they belong together. Adam continues to beg and convince Sharon that they need each other. Sharon kept trying to fight it saying that this isn't what she wants. She grabbed her purse and told Adam to not call her and to stay out of her life, then she makes her exit.

Nick and Chelsea continue to talk about Connor's return and how to prepare him. Nick extends an invite for Chelsea to have dinner with him and his mother but she declines and he leaves. Later Nick and Nikki arrive to Society and he updates her on everything that has happened and how Nick is using Sharon. Nikki wants to know how Sharon keeps running back to him..umm, the same way you kept running back to Victor. Nick then informs his mother how Phyllis has offered to sell him back some Dark Horse properties and Nikki wants to know what Phyllis is up to. Nick shares how Phyllis is making things right with her and Phyllis. But Nikki wants to know where they stand and Nick is unsure where their relationship stands. Their conversation shifts and Nick shares that Connor is moving to GC and will be living with him, they talk about Victor and how he's preoccupied with his treatments.

Speaking of Phyllis, she went to see Nick but got Chelsea instead. They throw shade to one another and Chelsea brings up Phyllis' recent nice gestures of the Dark Horse properties then she asked why is she there and what does she want from Nick. Phyllis tries to defend herself to say that her working at Dark Horse is really helping Nick and not to hurt him. Chelsea isn't here for Phyllis and wants to know why she's there. The two throw more shade and money comes into the convo. Chelsea tells Phyllis that she doesn't need Nick's money then Phyllis asked how much she got from her dead husband. Chelsea went for the gut and told Phyllis that Calvin loved her for who she was, scars and all then asked Phyllis "can you say the same? Has any man loved you that way?" Phyllis left on that note. Later Phyllis arrives at Dark Horse and sees Nick, she grabs him and pulls him to the side. Nikki was on the phone with Victor when this happened but tells Victor that she will call him back because things look like their going to heat up, referring to Nick and Phyllis. Phyllis decides to throw a business opportunity to Nick but Nick declines and said that the only thing he's focused on right now are his kids but Phyllis keeps going then asked for a financial backing by borrowing against the portfolio that was given to him. Nick tells Phyllis that he didn't take the portfolio from Victoria and that Devon is doing the financial backing for the non-profit. Phyllis comments how Nick won millions from his father, donated it all to charity and when another money making business opportunity comes up he declines it. She then asked if he has something against being wealthy and he said no, that it's not a concern for him and she's left frustrated because she didn't get her way. Phyllis goes to the bar to have a drink and Nikki decides to join her. Nikki thanks Phyllis for what she did for Nick and Phyllis is confused why Nick didn't take everything she risked her job for. Nikki tells Phyllis that making amends is not a bad thing but that it's good karma then Phyllis shares that she's down because Nick doesn't have any money to help her on her business venture but then she asked Nikki if she'd like to go into business with her but Nikki shot her down and now Phyllis has no one.

Nick returns home and Chelsea asked if Phyllis found him. Chelsea shares that she came to the house looking for him. He told her about Phyllis' business pitch and how he turned her down and that the only thing he wants to do is provide affordable housing for people to raise their families then he questions if anything was wrong with that. She tells him no in a comforting way.

Billy goes back to the wall that previously had Adam written on it, that Kevin explained that it originally said  Madam Delia but the letters were worn off, but he found another word "stop" and he wants whatever or whoever that is trying to come for him to reveal themselves. Billy takes the opportunity to speak to Delia and shares how much he misses her. Billy is making his rounds all over the house seeking answers and begging for Delia to talk to him and tell him what she needs him to do. Billy falls asleep on the couch and start to have another nightmare, this time Delia screams 'daddy I am so cold' and Billy jolts up. This time he goes back to the wall and now he sees the words 'Stop Adam Now'. Billy freaks out and thinks he is still dreaming but then he received a text from Victoria telling him that Spiderman has nothing on him and wonders if he'll be home soon. Billy takes this text as a sign since Adam's nickname in Vegas was Spider. He tells Delia that her message was received loud and clear. Oh Lord, what is he about to do??

Thursday 8/8: Connor and Anita arrive at Nick's place. Connor looks to be about 7yrs old, glad he didn't return a teenager. Mariah has the rooftop with a fresh Miami theme for the joint party and she's tripping because she told Sharon that it was a ladies only thing when it's really coed. Sharon arrived early commenting on how nice the place looks and that the girls are going to love it. Rey is at the coffee house telling someone that he can't make it tonight because he has something to do for his sister. As he was leaving, Billy comes in clearly in a frantic state of mind. He sits at a table and pulls out a book about ghost and he hears Delia's voice in his head telling him that he's cold. Kyle and Lola are home about to get ready for their party, Lola apologizes for inviting Summer but explains her reasons why. Kyle is okay then suggest that they be fashionably late as he seduces his future wife. Summer is on the patio at Crimson Lights when Theo shows up and she shares that she is going to be on her best behavior at the party since Lola went out of her way to invite her. Theo comments that it'll be a good one with a devious look on his face. This bromance storyline is stupid,.

Chelsea is excited to see her son. Chelsea helped get Connor situated in his room, then she joined Anita back in the living room and Anita is counting up coins as she is admiring Nick's home decor. Chelsea stopped her greedy thoughts asked about Connor and Anita informs her that he misses Calvin. Then Anita asked why she was staying with Nick and what she was up to then asked how come she isn't with Adam right now, she believes that he would be the best one to help her right now. Chelsea does not like her mother's comments. Chelsea explains what happened with Adam and how he's back to his evil self. Anita asked about Nick and where things stand. Chelsea tells Anita that she knows that she is only concerned about how her well being and Chelsea informs her mother that she will be well taken care of then she offers her $1Mil. Anita is stunned to think that Chelsea would think that she only wants her money. Anita turns down the money and suggest she put it towards Connor's future. Chelsea wants to know what happened to her mother, then Connor walks in and Anita tells her that she needs to talk to her son and she leaves the two alone. Chelsea brings Connor a snack but he declines and wants to know what his grandmother was talking about. They talk about Calvin, how much they miss him. Connor wants to know why they're in GC and when they're going home.

Mariah and Tessa thank Sharon for coming early. Just as Sharon walked off Mariah tried to warn her that Rey is coming but Sharon didn't hear her. Everyone starts arriving to the party, including Rey and Mariah greets him. Right when she was about to warn him that Sharon was there, Sharon approaches Mariah with a question but instead comes face to face with her ex Latin lover. They ask each other what are you doing here in unison. Sharon then notices that there are a lot of men at the bachelorette party and then Mariah informs her that this is a joint party, Sharon wished she would've known before hand. She asked to speak to Rey alone. Mariah leaves and Sharon suggest that the party is big enough and that they could both enjoy themselves separately. He agrees but then asked if she knew beforehand that this was a coed party would she have brought Adam. She was disgusted by his questions then stormed off. Devon, Elena, Abby and Nate are all enjoying some dancing and laughter together and some selfie cams. Mariah and Tessa are discussing the evenings events so far when Summer and Theo show up. Mariah approaches Summer and asked if she is going to start crashing everything. Summer informed her that Lola invited her. But Mariah didn't understand why she would bring Theo knowing that Kyle wasn't too fond of him, just as Kyle was about to say that things were good, Kyle came out of nowhere and said that things were good because Theo was just leaving. Summer asked Kyle not to do this now and Theo said that he was just there to celebrate them. Kyle grabs Theo to escort him out but Lola stops him and asked him not to make a scene. Kyle said that if he says one more thing, he's out. Lola is okay with that. They tell Summer and Kyle to have fun and they leave them be. Next we see Summer and Abby giving each other the evil eye. Mariah asked Sharon what was up with her and Rey, Sharon says that she will explain later then she went to greet Billy when he came in. Billy shares that he doesn't want to be there right now so Sharon suggest that they get out of there. Rey is talking to Kyle and Lola, they catch up about Celeste then Rey takes his sister to the dance floor. Abby takes the time to talk to Kyle and gets the info on why Summer and Theo are there as she watches Summer from a distance. Later Jack is walking around looking for Billy, he asked Traci of his whereabouts and she informs him that she last seen him with Sharon. Just then Mariah gets on the mic to give a speech and to present them with a special presentation...Tessa performed a special song about their lives with a video montage of childhood pics. Summer and Theo are in the cut talking about how much they disliked the presentation. Rey then gives his speech, accepting Kyle into the family and his love for his sister. Abby still has her eye on Summer and Theo, she shares with Nate how she watched them make a mock of the video. Summer approaches Abby and they take their confrontation to the side just has Jack was making his speech. Theo decides to steal Jack's moment and make a speech of his own. Theo starts to talk about Kyle's past but Kyle quickly interrupts and thanks everyone for coming then he pulls Theo to the side and wants to know what he was up to. Theo wants to know why Kyle stopped him. Theo tells Kyle that he is tired of his sanctimonious acts, that he's not going to be treated like they're not friends, he wants some acknowledgements. Kyle reminds him that they are not friends. Theo then tells Kyle that he will keep reminding him of the man he was in the past. Kyle mentions something about a girl that was 17, that almost died and that Kyle had to payoff the father. Okay....what really happened in this bromance that Theo can't let go of. Meanwhile Summer and Abby are going at it. Abby wants to know why Summer even wants to be around and Summer calls Abby a little princess who can't keep a relationship, then they attack each other's relationships and start to physically push each other. Abby then goes for the kill by bringing up the fact that Summer had to blackmail a man that would never love her into marrying her. A heartbroken and hurt Summer dumps a bucket of ice on Abby and the two really go to blows. Mariah runs over to break up the fight......can't wait to see how this ends tomorrow.

Sharon and Billy go to the coffee house to talk and Billy tells her that he ran into Rey and it seems that he's open to the thought of them getting back together. Sharon said that he must have seen him before he caught her with Adam. Billy is stunned that Sharon is being so stupid to get caught up with Adam. Sharon changes the subject and asked if he went to see the therapist as she suggested. Billy catches Sharon up with his therapy visits and the other things that have been going on. Sharon sees that Billy is being haunted by Delia's ghost.

Friday 8/9: Abby and Summer continue their little squabble by the bar then Kyle and Theo go at it by the DJ Booth, Lola has had enough and got on the mic and yelled for everyone to stop. She tells the crowd that tonight isn't just about celebrating her and Kyle but it's also about mending relationships. Mariah jumps in, agrees and then offers a toast and the party gets back to its groove. Nick met up with Victoria at Society to inform him how he screwed up and when Victoria asked how bad he hit Adam, guess who walks in...yes Adam. Adam strolls by the two and goes straight to the bar. Chelsea is at Nick's trying to explain to Connor about their move to GC. Connor is sad and mentions how Calvin left them and how he doesn't have a father anymore. Chelsea shares that she has something else to tell him. I wonder if he's going to find out about his real daddy?

Theo takes Summer a towel then Mariah and Tessa walked up on them. Mariah starts to go in on Summer bur Tessa pulls her away. On the other side of the roof, Devon thanks Lola for how she calmed things down. Abby apologizes and Nate goes to comfort her. Later Rey talks to Kyle about Theo and gives him advice on how to handle a guy like him. Rey suggest that he doesn't give Theo the attention that he wants. Rey then gets a text from Nick and he has to leave. Jack commends Lola the way she handled things. Traci jokes that she is now qualified to handle all of the Abbott feuds. Jack is proud to call Lola his daughter. Lola wishes her mother felt the same way, then Jack embraces Lola in a hug to ensure her that things will be okay and a jealous Summer is watching from a distance. Later Kyle and Lola are taking pics when a song Lola loves comes on then she goes off to dance with Tessa leaving Kyle and Mariah to smile and watch from distance. While Devon and Elena are dancing, Devon gets an important business call that he has to take. A dried off Abby shares with Nate and Traci how she shouldn't have let Summer get to her like that then she goes and gets a drink. Jack goes to approach Summer and she immediately tries to apologize and blame Abby but Jack tells her that he isn't letting either of them off the hook. Jack then tries to warn Summer about Theo and how he is bad news. Summer shares that everyone has the same thought about him but that she knows what she is doing. Later Kyle goes and sweeps his lady off her feet on the dance floor but joins them. Elena goes to talk to Nate about the evening and Abby, Nate informs her about how Abby's recent actions are affecting how he feels about her but that he still likes her. Elena suggest that he stops chasing her and to follow her lead and she drags him to the dance floor to join Kyle and everyone else. Watching from a distance, Summer and Theo are talking about the evening but Theo suggest that they could have fun elsewhere and they take off. Kyle and the crew stops dancing, Mariah and the girls take selfies while Kyle shares his plans on going to Miami to bring Celeste back to GC for the wedding. Jack tells Kyle that he has too much going on and that he will go get Celeste and he promises not to come back until he has her with him. Kyle seems relieved. Later, Summer and Theo get stuck in the elevator but take that time to have elevator sex. Nate tells Abby that he's going to head home and that he will call her later and Abby says yeah but looks confused and Elena tells Nate to watch how she acts now. Kyle and Lola are slow dancing and enjoying how the night is ending.

Chelsea talks to Connor about the death of both his fathers and when Chelsea mentions the name Adam, Connor says his real dad. Connor sees that Chelsea was struggling with something and he encouraged her to talk to him, that he can handle it. Chelsea then shares that they really didn't know what happened to his father after the explosion but that he lost his memory and moved away but now he's okay. Connor is excited that his father is alive and he gives his mother a big hug. Chelsea is crying...but are those tears of joy or sadness because of the fight that she is about to have with Adam? Connor asked again if his father was alive and if he remembers them now. Chelsea tells him yes then Connor wants to know where he lives and she tells him there in Genoa City and Connor wants to see his dad immediately. Chelsea tells Connor that she will try to get a hold of his father.

Victoria is surprised that Connor is in town and questions if Adam knows. Nick informs her that he doesn't know yet but that she wanted to break the news to Adam first before he hears from someone else. Victoria changes the subject and asked Nick about his temper and told him that he needs to get it together. They talk about Michael and wonders if he is being blackmailed by Adam. Then they discuss Christian and how he reacted to Adam telling him that he is his father. Nick shares that Christian seems okay but that he's too young to understand. Victoria agrees and wished she was there instead of the nanny when Adam decided to tell Christian he was the father. Victoria then suggest that Christian sees a therapist to help him understand the situation but that she also has another idea. She then goes over to Adam at the bar and threatens that if he continues to tell Christian that he is his father that she will make sure that he doesn't get anymore visits. Adam claps back that the judge has given him visitation and that she can't take his visits or he will request that the judge appoint a new guardian. Victoria then tells Adam that she will tell the judge how he is using the child to get at Nick. Adam then takes this opportunity to go over to Nick and share that he called the police and made a report but that the fact his buddy Rey was on the case makes sense to why he is not in jail but that he is determined to make sure that he gets jail time for the assault and that he has pics to prove it. Then Adam makes his exit leaving Nick and Victoria more frustrated. Nick then sends a text to Rey that he just spoke with Adam and asked if he could meet him at Society. Rey met with Nick at Society and Nick shares how Adam provoked Nick into the physical altercation by threatening to take Christian from him. Rey informs Nick that he promised Paul that he would do everything by the book when he begged for his job back but that since he has other pressing cases on his desk, he has time to get things together. Nick then asked if Adam asked him to talk to Sharon to corroborate his story. Rey responds uncomfortably by saying that Sharon painfully said yes and that he could tell that she didn't want to do so. Nick then talks about how Adam called her and she came running but Rey doesn't want to hear and he pleasantly makes his exit. Nick then tells Victoria that if Rey arrests him, that he will be ready to make his plea before the court.

Adam arrives home and receives a call from Chelsea but Adam is sending her call to voicemail. Chelsea explains to Connor that his father isn't answering and that she will try to reach out to him the next day. Connor then asked his mother if the reason his father stayed away so long was because he didn't want to be his father anymore. Chelsea quickly tries to kill that thought by telling him that his father loves him and that when his father sees him he's going to over the moon happy. Connor really doesn't believe anything and walks away in a somber mood.

Nick receives a call from Chelsea and she tells Nick about the conversation with Connor about his father and how Connor is desperate to see his father. Nick asked if she needs back up and she shares that they know how things will end. Nick encourages her to be careful and then wished her luck. Chelsea shares that she doesn't know how late it will be and they ended the call. Just then Connor comes from the back and Chelsea tells him that they are going to see his dad, no matter what. Nick and Victoria are still at Society and they are talking about Chelsea, Connor and Adam and hoping that things are going well. Nick hopes that Adam seeing Connor will cause happiness that will last and not give him determination to have both boys.

Adam responds to his doorbell, he opens the door already telling Chelsea that he doesn't have time to deal with her and before he could finish Chelsea pulls Connor forward and Adam immediately stops talking and embraces his son. The father and son are happy to see each other and while they are hugging Adam tells Chelsea thank you and she gives him a you're welcome nod. Adam and Connor are getting caught up then Chelsea says that it's time to leave but Connor refuses to leave and wants to stay the night with his dad. Chelsea says fine, if you're staying then I am staying and Adam gives Chelsea a smirk.

This is how the weeks ends..no big fireworks but I am sure that the following week has a lot in store.
