Y&R Update 4/22-4/26

Monday 4/22: Summer is still stunned that Lola is wearing the necklace that she thought was for her. Lola opens the gift that Summer gave her and sees that it is a knife. Lola explains that a knife as a gift is considered back luck. It represents the cutting/ending of a relationship. Unless it comes with a coin so that the gift recipient returns the coin as a payment. Summer gives a Lola a coin and she returns it by saying thank you. Then Summer compliments the necklace in which Lola places her hand over the necklace and nods in appreciation. Throughout the night, Lola and Kyle are giving each other loving glances and Summer notices and gets jealous. Later during the event, Lola is introduced to the crowd as the head chef and she gives this lovely speech and also thanks Summer for the gift of life. Summer is looking dumbfounded. Later as guest are mingling, Kyle finds a way to sneak away to see Lola. He tells her how amazing she is and tries to kiss her. She backs up and says that people can see them. That doesn't stop Kyle and he says that he just has to do it and he lands the kiss. Lola smiles and returns to the kitchen. Kyle is then grabbed by his daddy-in-law, Nick. Nick calls him a punk and calls him out. Kyle tries to tell Nick that it's not what it looks like. They argue and Summer comes along and breaks it up. Nick is trying to tell Summer that she is leaving him and that he doesn't know what he did. Summer snaps back that she will deal with whatever he did on her own terms (because she pretty much knows that her man is in love with another woman). Summer continues to tell Nick that she knew what she was getting into when she married Kyle and then threw shade about him cheating on Sharon with her mother. She expresses her love for Kyle to her dad and said that she is going to make it work and she grabs Kyle's hand and they walk off. Kyle thanks Summer for sticking up for him, they share a few words and walk off arm in arm. Lola sees them from behind and gets jealous.

Jack is walking around having a good time and notices that his assistant his passing out flyers for Jack of Hearts, which is Ashley's product, and confronts him about it. Ashley pops up and says that he works for her now. Ashley and Jack ramp up efforts and antics to one up each other's company all night which in turns pisses off Abby and Devon. Devon threatens to sue them if it happens again. Later in the night, Jack tried to make peace with Ashley but she didn't accept the peace treaty. Instead she went for the jugular and told him that she is moving forward with clothing line and that she wired back his $4 mil after she saw the video and that she is going to name it Abbott Exchange. And the war continues.

Mia arrives to attend the event in which she was denied at the door. She tried her best to talk the bouncer into letting her in, but nope, he just stood there and looked at her. Later the bouncer leaves his post and Mia finds her chance to sneak in. Mia finds Jack at the bar and befriends him. She pulls off her Mia charm and shares her problems with Jack. Explains that she is about to get a divorce because Rey is now with Sharon. Jack informs her that he is probably not the person that she needs to share this info with. She continues with her flirtatious charm and grab champagne glasses to offer a toast to moving on. As she a Jack are clinking glasses, Rey appears and grabs the glass from her hand. Jack pulls a "gotta go" move and makes his exit. Mia lies to Rey and said that Jack invited her to have a drink. Rey tells her that he couldn't care less about her flirting but that she shouldn't be drinking and they argue about their pregnancy. Abby sees Rey and Mia arguing while explaining to Arturo that they will never be together agian and immediately gets pissed and said "if she thought that getting kicked out of the GCAC was embarrassing, she should see this" and she starts to head over to them when Arturo stops her. He tells her that Mia is pregnant. Abby responds by saying "and it could be yours. Well I want her out of here and you too" and he storms off. Rey takes Mia back to her hotel room and tells her that her antics are done and her primary focus needs to be that baby and that if she doesn't do right then she will have that baby in jail.

When the restaurant opened, Devon arrived with Elena on his arm. She was nervous because people were staring. Devon tells her to get used to it because she is beautiful. Later Devon, Ana, Jet and Elena are talking and Devon is congratulating Jet on an amazing performance. Ana and Devon walk off to greet people and Jet tells Elena that Devon is a good man.

Tuesday 4/23: Lily and Cane arrive to the launch opening together. Devon is wondering why they showed up as a couple and Lily explains that it would keep rumors down bur to trust that the relationship is over. Devon asked where the family was and Lily informs him that the kids and her dad are on their way. Devon takes Lily to see Ana and they become all happy and giddy and then Lily was introduced to Jet and Elena. Later in the evening Jet and Ana perform a song, while they're dancing Cane speak sweet nothings in Lily's ear and she is giving him the side eye. Lily sees the kids and ask where her father was and they say he stayed back at Devon's to charge his phone. Devon and Lily talk, Lily sees that Devon is smitten on Elena. Then Devon asked about Neil's whereabouts and Lily tells him what the kids told her. Devon calls Neil's phone several times and it went straight to voicemail. Devon decides to go home to check on him. Devon walks around the house calling for Neil and then goes upstairs to look for him. Next thing we see is Devon coming down the stairs crying. Here comes my tears, I was not ready for this moment. 

At Victoria's, Billy is impatiently waiting for Victoria to finish getting ready. When she finally comes to the living room Billy sees her and said forget the launch, lets go to the bedroom (she was cute but she wasn't that cute). Victoria tells Billy that she needs to show up since their father is in Vegas doing God knows what with God knows who and then all of a sudden the doorbell rings and guess who walks in. Big Daddy Vic. Victoria questions Victor about his whereabouts and lies and Victor downplays it to a business deal but then tells her that he met her rocker friend and says that he was very interested in her. They continue to communicate on what the real deal is and why Victor left Nikki right after she was released from prison. Victor explains that he didn't abandon Nikki and he is not involved in anything dangerous.

Meanwhile at the restaurant, Abby is having a wonderful time and Dr. Nate decides to do some light flirting. Lola is in the kitchen feeling insecure since she saw Kyle and Summer walk out arm in arm. She explains to Tessa that she thought he was in love with her but it doesn't look that way. She cries and wonders if she's a homewrecker. Tessa uplifts Lola with all kinds of supportive talk.

At the Abbott mansion, Summer if fuming about why Kyle and her father were into it and Kyle flat out says with no care in the world, "he saw me kiss Lola." Summer is upset and ask Kyle if everything he told her about loving her was a lie. Kyle explains that it's not what she thinks. Summer goes on and on how she knew what she was getting into but that she is a changed woman and that their love can conquer this and that from here on out they make a promise to be honest with one another, no more sneaking off with Lola and he is to be faithful to her and her only. Kyle says he can't do that. Summer realizes that Kyle is actually still in love with Lola and that all those loving things that were said to her were really meant for Lola. Summer is now all heartbroken and finally sees that Kyle did all of these things for Lola. Finally Kyle admits that he can't lie anymore and that he loves Lola and always have. Kyle suggest that they get a divorce or better yet annulled. Summer asked if he's doing this for her or for Lola. Kyle grabs his keys to leave and says, "we started off as friends, lets end this way" then walks out the door.

Devon arrives back at the restaurant where we see him telling Lily something and then she breaks down. The Winters family is all coming together to see what's going on the you can see them spread the news. Traci hears about it and and shares it with Abby.

Here comes the moment every Y&R fan has been impatiently waiting on. The real memorial episodes honoring Kristoff St John aka Neil Winters. The next couple of episodes may be hard for me to share but I will do my best to cover Neil's portion with dignity and class.

Wednesday 4/24: Y&R start off with Ashley and Jack going back and forth about their companies and Abby walks in. They ask her how the launch went and she responds "there's no easy way to say this but Neil died last night.

The Winters family gathers at Devon's and Lily is questioning Nate about Neil's health. She wants to know how and why he died but Nate has no answers. The family decides to turn off their phones because they don't want to deal with any phone calls. The mention of the funeral comes up and Lily says that she can't handle that right now. Cane and Nate decide that they will handle funeral arrangements and will not make any decisions without conferring with her first. The twins are comforting each other as they're dealing with the loss of their grandfather and Devon is trying to keep busy and lightly snaps at Ana when she offers to help. Ana apologizes to Devon and says that she canceled his meetings and that Mariah and Tessa sends their love.Devon tells her it's okay but that she needs to acknowledge the others whom are hurting. Ana receives what he is saying but reminds him that he just lost his wife a year ago and she saw what that did to him. Devon went on about all of the stress he put on Neil with work, prosecuting Lily and her going to jail, and work and blamed himself for Neil having a stroke. Lily overhears and agreed that there was stress but that she should be the blame of everything. Nate explains to Lily that Neil died of natural causes and there's nothing that anyone could've done. Lily doesn't accept that response, she list the reasons of his stressed and she breaks by screaming that she killed Hillary and now she killed her father and she storms out of the penthouse and Cane runs after her. The twins and Devon attempt to call Lily but no answer. The twins worry about their mother and Devon tries his best to comfort them. They say that they should go home in case she shows up there and Devon thinks that's a good idea. Nate offers to take them home and Devon suggest that Ana rides with them. Mariah arrives to the condo just as Devon is about to close the door and he welcomes her in. Lily is at Crimson Lights sitting at a table by herself when Cane arrives and she tries to tell him that this is not the time and but he let's her know that he is there for her and she recalls her father's last words to her, "I love you, babygirl" and continues to break because she has now lost both of her parents. Later, Lily stands at the coffee counter and she sobs uncontrollably and Cane says forget what their going through and he just holds his wife and she lets him. Back at Devon's, he is alone where he breaks down on the stairs.

Meanwhile at Newman Enterprises, Nikki storms into Victor's office questioning him about his whereabouts and why did he go to Victoria's first before coming home to her when he got back into town. She goes on about the psychiatrist receipts when Victor gets a phone call from Jack. Victor tells Jack that he doesn't have time to talk but Jack says that he needs to inform him that Neil had passed away. Victor is heart broken about the news and shares the news with Nikki while still on the phone with Jack. Victor continues to phone call on speaker phone. Jack and Victor end the phone call amicably and Nikki breaks down crying. Nikki and Victor reminisce about the great things about Neil. Nikki tries to bring up why Victor was gone and Victor shuts that down and says that right now they just need to deal with Neil's death.

At the Abbott mansion, Abby, Ashley and Jack are heartbroken as well as they speak highly of Neil and reminisce of fun times and also times in which Neil saved them from their struggles. Jack and Ashley end in a sibling embrace.

At the Crimson Lights, Mariah and Tessa talk about Neil and Mariah says that she has to make a statement on GC Buzz but that she can't do anything without Devon's approval. She is wondering how she is going to respond to the phone calls and inquiries from fans and employees regarding this loss. Mariah meets Tessa back at their apartment where Tessa is on the fire escape singing her song and Mariah sits and cries due to the loss of Neil.

Wonderful way to show the passing of Neil Winters, they have him passing in peace. Thank you Y&R for the respect displayed for Kristoff.

Thursday 4/25: Today is the day of the funeral.. Y&R starts off with the voice of Ana singing Amazing Grace then we see the Ashby kitchen table with condolence cards and flowers and Lily placing another vase of flowers on the table, Cane walks over to hug Lily, Charlie comes into the kitchen struggling with his tie, Cane goes to help him as Mattie hugs her mother. The next scene is in Victor's office with him a Nikki hugging. Then Victoria's house where we see Billy and Jill hugging then Billy goes to help Victoria with her coat. Next we see Sharon opening her door and Nick on the other side and then embrace. We see Phyllis alone in her hotel room about to get dressed. Then we see the Abbotts leaving their house for the funeral but Jack stops and then goes and gets his sobriety coin and has a moment. Then we're at Devon's and someone is at the door. Devon opens to welcome Malcom. As the song comes to an end we finally see Ana singing with tears in her eyes, as the Winters family arrive at the church.

Neil's funeral starts and in the crowd we see Sofia and Leslie along with the cast of Y&R. The emotions that we see on the cast are real. The tears of grief, the smile of love, the sadness of missing a loved one....all real. Malcom speaks about how much he loves his brother, the ups and downs, just everything and how he'll be missed. Nate spoke highly of his uncle. Victor spoke highly of a man whom he considered a son and a friend. Jack spoke of Neil's generosity. Devon speaks on how Neil took him and his family in and how much he loves him and how Neil was his best friend. It was time for the final words from friends and family the camera pans to Lily, Devon and Malcom. Lily is too broken to speak so Malcom looks back at Cane and tell him that he needs to go up for the Ashby family. Cane is so torn as well and says that Neil wouldn't want him to. Lily turns to Cane and said "No matter what happened between you and I, my father loved you." Cane talks about how Neil was the first father figure that he seen in action and how it was an honor to learn from him and a privilege to be in his family. Cane ends his speech with encouraging Lily to speak. Lily gets up to speak and breaks down again. She finally speaks on how much she misses her father, how she sees his smile in her brother, how he should've had more time. She also spoke of his strength and how much he was there for her.

The funeral/episode conclude with everyone extending their condolences to the family and with Devon and Lily holding hands staring at a picture of their father. RIP Neil Winters.

Friday 4/26: Y&R starts off with everyone at Devon's house for the repass. Malcom encourages everyone by saying that this is a time to celebrate life with happiness and no more crying. Ana sings a song and Devon plays some of Neil's jazz albums. Everyone shares their memories of Neil and his love for jazz.

During the repass Jill asked Cane if he spoke Lily about him leaving Chancellor and them rekindling their relationship. Cane informs Jill that he did but that Lily still wants the divorce but that he isn't giving up. Later Jill finds out that Billy and Victoria are back together and she is ecstatic.

As the repass comes to an end, Malcom gets the family together to take a family picture. After the family picture, everyone says their goodbyes. Devon sits alone mourns the loss of his father. Next we see Lily in her kitchen finally coming to grips of what just happened. Cane suggest that she stay the night in her family home. Lily crushes Canes hope for a future by telling him that she is leaving first thing in the morning. She explains that her father encouraged her to live and life that pleases her and Cane quickly understands that being with him is not that. Back at Devon's, Elena walks in and sees a hurt Devon. She asked how the evening went, they share a few words and Devon breaks down and cries. Elena comforts Devon as he grieves.

Things start to transition from Neil's death as we see Victor and Nikki at Neman Enterprises. Nikki asked why they were there and Victor tells Nikki that he has to leave out of town that night. Nikki questions Victor of his whereabouts and he tells her that the little she knows the better and he leaves for his unknown trip. Let's see what Genoa City brings us next week.

Y&R Update 4/15-4/19

Last week on the Young and the Restless:

Let's start with Nikki Newman, well since she has been out of jail she has been kind of solo. Victor is out doing God knows what with God knows who. But Nikki finds some info saying that he's been seeing a psychiatrist. WHAT??? Is Victor going crazy again or is it really Adam seeing the psych since you know he was almost killed in a house explosion. Hmm, we shall see. But Nikki asks Rey if he would find out what's been going on with Victor. Let's see if he does it. 

Speaking of Rey, Paul is trying to set him up. Paul offered him his job back ONLY if he would solve his sister's, Lola, case. Paul believes that Rey knows who did it but is hiding the information. We know he is because the suspect is none other than his wife, Mia. Rey goes and visits Sharon and informs her of everything and even the part in which he was about to arrest Mia but when he found out she was pregnant he backed off. So now the Rosales family is trying to give Mia an alibi for the night of the attack, saying that she was with Arturo. Let's see how this plays out. 

Arturo is still trying to beg his way back to Abby so he decides to visit her at her new restaurant. While they are trying to talk, guess who shows up. Yep, Mia. She tells Arturo that they need to speak ASAP. So they go to chancellor park and that is when she decides to inform him of the baby and the alibi plans. Arturo is shook with this baby news and jets. He ain't trying to hear that. Arturo runs into Rey at the coffee house and he apologizes to Rey for sleeping with Mia. They have a brotherly talk and Arturo agrees to go with the alibi. There's more with Arturo and Abby but I will bring that up a little later. 

So the week prior we found out that Summer decides to let things go about Lola and Kyle. But Kyle was suppose to end things with Summer. Kyle tells Jack that he basically punked out but that he will do it. Summer decides to go visit her mother to check her about setting Kyle up. They go back and forth and then Summer blames herself for sleeping with Billy and now she is so sorry and they have a mother/daughter moment. While this is going on, over that Victoria's Billy is trying to explain to Vic why she is the woman for him and then he proposes but then there's a knock at the door. They tried to ignore because Billy wants an answer but then Phyllis makes it known that it's her. Her timing is terrible. Victoria tells them they should talk. Billy tells her now isn't the time but you know Phyllis ain't trying to hear it. Billy convinces her that he would come see her soon. She leaves and Victoria comes back down. Billy hands her the box and tells her to think about while goes and handles the red head. Billy goes to Phyllis' suite at the GCAC and they talk. They talk about all of their wrong doings including him sleeping with Summer. Billy wants everything to be over so he asked her what she wanted. She explains that she wants money to start her own business so he helps her. Billy then goes back to Victoria's to see if she has an answer. Victoria thinks about their past then tells Billy that they could be a disaster. Billy tried to convince her that it'll be different but she doesn't change her mind. BUT this time she said no but that she'll hold on to the ring. We might see wedding bells in the future.

As you know Devon has a house full, his sister Ana, her father Jet and her cousin Elena (who he is attracted to). Devon has convinced Ana and her father to perform at the opening of the restaurant. While Devon and Jet are performing, Jet doesn't think that he could do it. Devon, Ana and Jet talk and shares how much people are looking forward to this opening and their performance and convinces them to do so. Afterwards, Ana and Elena talk about what to wear. Elena ain't trying to but an expensive dress for one night but then Devon offers them to go shopping on his dime. But Elena's proud behind declines and storms off. Ana explains things to Devon, instead he found some dresses that Hillary never wore and tells her that Hillary was the type of woman that would love to help others so he gave her the dresses and told her to do what she wanted. 

Lily is FREE, well from jail that is. She also wants to be free from their marriage but Cane isn't trying to let her go. Before Lily's release, Cane takes the twins to dinner and inform them that their mother is being released but he also explains that he can't sign the divorce papers. He also informs them that he is going to resign from Chancellor so that he can spend more time doing positive things but that daughter of his, Mattie, gets all angry and tells him just to let their mother go and she storms off. Charlie stays with his dad and they talk but Cane isn't giving up. Later that week, Cane and Traci talk on the phone about how he can't Lily go. Cane informs Traci that the twins went to go get Lily from prison but then Lily walk through the door. Cane welcomes her and they talk about the past, the kids, Neil and Cane begs for another chance. He suggest that she stays the night and that they attend the restaurant launch together. 

Tessa and Mariah need another dramatic story line so they decide to have a romantic night at the coffee house. Tessa plays her song for Mariah and now they're all lovey dovey when a brick comes crashing through the window with a note that says "Give up the gossip, you're ruining people's lives." Mariah and Tessa go to Sharon's to tell her and Rey about what happen. They all talk, Rey will have the police look into it and that they need to change things up by going to different places to have coffee. Sharon tells Mariah to inform Devon of what's going on. Who could be after Mariah? Sounds like a new character is coming.  

Back to the juicy stuff, the day of the restaurant launch his here!! Everything that could go wrong, is going wrong for Abby and Lola. The alarm keeps going off, the lights went out. But Mr. Fix it Arturo is there to save the day. While all of this is going on, Summer and Kyle are at the Abbott mansion getting ready. Kyle has this beautiful heart shaped diamond necklace and Summer sees it from a distance, thinking it's for her. She purposely picks dresses with a low neckline because she is thinking that Kyle is going to give it to her at the restaurant. While Kyle is in the shower, Summer sneaks and takes a closer look at the necklace admiring it and gets more excited about it. Before they leave, Summer shows Kyle a gift that "they" got Lola for the grand opening, it's a monogram knife. Kyle tells her she shouldn't have. But Summer is trying to make things normal for them. Anyway, they make it to the restaurant and Abby offers to give them a tour. Abby and Summer walk off while Kyle slips away to Lola. Kyle explains that he hasn't broken things off with Summer yet but that he will and they share a passionate hug. Summer finds them and says "oh you left me to do the tour alone with Abby" basically trying to lighten an awkward moment. Summer presents Lola with her gift. Lola says thanks and that she needs to get to the kitchen. Lola reaches around her neck and pulls out the heart shaped diamond necklace so that it can be seen over her chefs coat and Summers mouth dropped!! Oooh, can't wait to see the full reaction.

Y&R Update 4/8 - 4/12

Last week on Y&R, you know we left off the previous week with Sharon receiving a sonogram pic from Mia. She done stole another woman's sonogram and gave it to Sharon. At the coffee house, Sharon and Mia go head to head, verbally, trying to make the other one jealous and then all of a sudden Mia doubles over in pain. Sharon calls Ray and rushes Mia to the hospital. Mia doesn't want to go because you know she's been lying about the pregnancy. Ray gets to the hospital in time for the doctors to do an ultrasound. Mia is all nervous thinking about how she's going to explain not being pregnant and what do you know....SHE REALLY IS PREGNANT! Now Mia is all shocked and Ray is excited to hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time. Mia asked to speak to the doctor privately and Ray obliges. Mia asked the doctor how far along she was and the doctor confirmed 12 weeks. Now Mia knows that it's not Rays but it's Arturo's.
We also left off with Billy showing at at Victoria's hotel door. Victoria wonders why Billy is in Vegas to see her. They talk and then have an intimate moment when Victoria gets a text from her Rock Band lover about Big Vic attending a poker game. Victoria and her rocker friend decide to host a poker game in her hotel suite to lure Victor to the game. Billy was not to keen about this idea because he didn't think Victoria could roll with the big dogs but she proved him wrong. One of Billy's poker rivals joins the party and tried to talk Billy into playing so that she can win back the money that Billy took from her back when he lost the Jabot boat but Billy declines. He let Victoria play and sure enough, Victoria came out victorious at the end of the night. Victor never showed up to the game, leaving Victoria and Billy suspicious of his whereabouts, especially after the rocker friend showed Victoria a pic of her dad laughing it up at a bar when he said that he was elsewhere. After the Vegas events, Billy and Victoria make it back to Genoa city together. Looks like Bictoria/Villy might be on another romantic ride.
Not much was shown for Tessa and Maria except we see that Tessa finally gets the song bug and sings a song for Mariah and Mariah was recording it as she was singing. Mariah is all excited about the song and calls Devon to hear it. Tessa is a little apprehensive since Devon kicked her to the curb a while back due to her lying abilities. Devon sends Anna to listen to the song and everyone is in awe. We'll see how this turns out.
The sibling battle between Jack and Ashley continues. Jack comes up with a brilliant idea about where to take Jabot and he shares it with Billy at the Abbott mansion. Next thing you know, Ashley shares online that she is doing the EXACT same thing. So Jack gets all mad and tries to find out how she found out. He calls everyone, determined to get to the bottom of it, only to find out that Ashley planted a listening device in the gift box that she sent to him. So he decides to make up a fake plan to take Jabot elsewhere and Ashley calls him and says "oh you found my device." Well they talk back and forth and settle with Jack giving Ashley four million to let go of Jabot and the Jabot collective ideas.
Now to the good stuff, Phyllis is back to her old tricks. Phyllis tells Summer that she wants to take her to the spa for a couple of days, just to get away and relax. Summer agrees but little did she know that Phyllis actually hired someone to follow Kyle. Prior to Phyllis inviting Summer on this little trip, Phyllis and Lola had a talk and Lola saw right through it but it also motivated Lola to reach out to Kyle. Phyllis and Summer head off to their girls weekend and Kyle wasted no time with taking Lola to dinner at the GCAC. The two of them have a wonderful dinner and Lola suggests that they take this lovely date to a room. Little did they know that someone was sitting a few tables away taking pictures of them. They decide to go to the room and that's when things got all hot and heavy but they did not complete the hotel room mission. Kyle's phone started vibrating and guess who it was?? Yes, his devoted wife Summer. Kyle and Lola realize that they couldn't commit to making love so they ended the night. Kyle heads home. Well the reason why Summer was calling is because she realized that now isn't a good time for her to leave her hubby, especially knowing that he is in love with another woman. Summer goes all over Genoa City looking for him and he's no where to be found. Well when she arrives home after her search, she finds him there and asks where he was and he responds at the office. She tried to shake off the fact that she was just there looking for him and seduces him so they go to the bedroom. Things start to get a little heated in the bedroom but then Kyle stops because he can't shake the fact that he was just kissing all over Lola and now he's with Summer. He stops and admits that he was with Lola and Summer goes straight in and says I know you slept with her and I forgive so let's just keep it moving. This girl is stupid in love. While all of this is going on Phyllis storms into the Abbott mansion and shows Jack the photos of Kyle and Lola and says they are together at the GCAC right now in a room and that if Jack doesn't sell Lauren Fenmores so that she can get back to work, she would release the photos and spread news about how the Abbott men ain't nothing but a bunch of cheaters and don't treat women with respect. Jack throws it back at her that it was low that she would hurt her own daughter for her gain. Phyllis gives Jack 24 hrs to make a decision. Now Jack knew that Kyle and Summer were upstairs so he sent him a text for him to come down ASAP. Jack informs Kyle of what Phyllis did and let him see the photos that were taken. Kyle says that he will be upfront with Summer about everything and will let her know that they can't continue to live like this. So he goes back to the room and admits that he was with Lola and Summer goes straight in and says I know you slept with her and I forgive so let's just keep it moving. This girl is stupid in love. So now that Jack knows that he and Kyle just ruined Phyllis' little plan he goes to the GCAC and shares the news with her. Phyllis gets all upset and tells Jack to get out and then she trashes the room in anger. While she is having a melt down, Jack is in the restaurant hyping up Lauren about how their businesses are about to move ALL THE WAY UP!

Y&R Update Week of 4/1-4/5

Hey Y&R Fans, let's see what Genoa City has brought us......

Ashley Abbott is back and ready to take over the world. She called an emergency board meeting where she revealed that she used Kerry, oops I mean Dominique, as a spy in Jabot to patent all of the products that Jabot thought they were making. Everyone was wondering who was the "real" Kerry and if she really exist. Well she does, London and she works for Ashley. Well Ashley thanks Dominique for her work and Dominique exits like she did nothing wrong. Jacks chases after her because he wanted to know if their little love affair was part of Ashley's plan and Dominique says it wasn't but that she enjoyed those wonderful times they had together and she leaves the Jabot...oh and now Dominique speaks with an European accent, like where did that come from. Jack goes back into the CEO office, because that's pretty much the only office we see on the show and they all continue looking crazy as Ashley is smiling away. Ashley tells the board that she wants to buy Jabot and run it under her company, Phyllis starts to think about, thinking that this would probably be a good idea since now they have NO products and Lauren agrees since Jabot owns 51% of her company and she ain't trying to go down with the ship. The Abbott clan said that before they could continue with any business they need to trim some fat. Jack, Billy, and Kyle go in on Phyllis and blame her for everything and call an emergency vote to remove her as CEO. She tries to one up them and say well you can't call a vote because we're missing 2 people, Billy beat her to the punch and had them on conference call. The vote was taken and the end of the vote, Phyllis was booted and Jack was reinstated as CEO of Jabot. Now that Jack is at the head he pretty much tells Ashley that she can take her proposal and kick rocks. Ashley smiled and called it war.  Later at the Abbott  Mansion Jack and Billy are trying to find ways to re-brand Jabot, wanting to make a clothing line but didn't know where to start and here comes the newly weds, Kyle and Summer with all of their grand marketing ideas. Jack and Billy take it all in but doesn't move. The Abbott clan is thinking about hiring Summer from Newman, we'll see how that turns out. 

Speaking on the newly weds. it's now out that Summer is the donor for Lola. While Summer and Kyle were telling Phyllis the news at the coffee house, Lola walks in. Kyle runs to her like a love sick puppy asking her how she's been. They share their pleasantries all the while Phyllis is telling Summer that you better get your man before he goes running off. Summer acts like she isn't jealous but runs to Kyle and tells him to take her home because she tired in front of Lola, trying to stake her claim. Lola has this look like "whatever girl." Kyle takes Summer home, the Abbott Mansion, where she seduces him and they make love. Once they're done, Summer drifts off to sleep and Kyle checks his phone to see if Lola responded to a message that he sent only to see that she didn't reply. But wait, why is Lola still his screensaver. Well when he left the room, Summer wakes up and decides to check his phone and sees the screensaver. After the little meeting with Jack and Billy she decides to confront Kyle about it. Kyle makes Summer feel better by deleting the picture and Lola's number from his phone. Summer hugs him all excited but Kyle looks like he lost his best friend. 

Oh, guess who else is back,Rebecca Barlow. Some of you may remember her as the chick that Phyllis tried to pimp Nick off to. Well, She is back and now working for Jabot, hired by Billy Abbott. Rebecca runs into Nick at the GCAC and they decide to catch up. Nick tells Rebecca that he and Phyllis are no longer together and asks her out and she accepted. Now before he ran into Rebecca, Nick decided to pop up at Sharon's to offer her a new job. Nick is now about to learn that he better call before he pops up. Sharon was at home with her new boo, Ray. Nick looks a little thrown but he wasn't rattled. Sharon turns him down and goes about his way....we'll come back to Sharon and Ray though. Maybe a few days after Nick and Rebecca's initial run in they were at the GCAC again, having drinks as friends and little miss Phyllis sees and makes her way to them to say hello, come on now, you know she just wanted them to know that she sees them. But that didn't stop what they were doing, instead Nick took Rebecca to his place where they decided to put it on each other. Meanwhile Phyllis is at the coffee house all broken down because she lost her job, she is not getting a severance, Summer might be working for Jabot and now her man is sleeping with another woman. This is what happens when you get to scheming. Now everyone is throwing Karma in her face since she threw the Newman women under the bus

Back to Sharon and Ray, they are still the happy couple, slowly coming out to people. But wait, y'all know Mia ain't going for this. So the non-pregnant, telling everyone she's pregnant, soon to be ex-wife decides to leave a picture of a sonogram on Sharon's door with a note saying, Baby Rosales first photo. The drama in the story line is suppose to come in the following week.

You know we haven't seen much of the Ashby clan, since Lilly is in jail. Well Lilly served Cane divorce papers and Cane went to cry to her begging not to tear their family apart. Lilly calmly tells Cane that it's over, she's about to get an early release and that she is moving on elsewhere. Cane goes back to Genoa City all broken down and gets wasted at the GCAC, he drunkenly goes off on Billy since he's the one that ran to Lilly when he caught Cane and Victoria kissing. Tracy Abbott intervenes and takes Cane home to help him sober up. He and Tracy talk about the divorce and everything and she calms him down. The twins come in asking why Tracy was there and he informs them of the situation and they all share a family hug. Afterwards, Michael comes over with a new set of divorce papers, because Cane tore up the other ones, and Cane attempted to sign them but couldn't.

As for Abby, after she went all Carrie Underwood on Arturo's truck, she showed up to her office the next day with a ton of roses. Arturo was trying to plead his case but she was like, nah bro, this is over. Not only was her relationship over, she decided to quit working at Dark Horse as well. She said that she just wants to focus on her business with Devon and Lola. 

Speaking of Devon, now he done moved his sister's dad and cousin into his penthouse while the father is going through some medical treatments. Well the cousin and Devon are hitting off but trying to hide their true attraction for one another. We shall see how this plays out. 

Now meanwhile ALL of this is going on in Genoa City, little miss Victoria decides that she needs some "me time" and jets off to Vegas without telling anyone where she is really going. She checks in under an alias hoping no one will find her. Well a stranger knocks on her door wanting some of her attention. She initially declines but he invites her to a show that his band was performing in. Later that night Victoria decides to let her hair down and go out. She comes back to her hotel penthouse with the band and they are posting pics and having fun. Victoria tries to keep up the alias but the guy calls her out and tells her that her picture has been all over the news. They wrap up their party time and before he leaves, he writes his number on her hand. He leaves and Victoria decides to get ready for bed but she decides to call him instead. Well back in GC, Summer is scrolling through social media and sees a pic of Victoria with one of the most popular bands in the country (that's what they said) and shows Billy. Now Billy is all jealous. Billy has been blowing up Victoria's phone but she didn't answer it until the next day. He asked her how things are going. She comes clean and said that she wasn't on a business trip but that she just needed time away. Billy calls her out and asked her about Vegas and explains how he knew she was there. While they were on the phone, Mr. Band Man knocks on her door and calls her through it, she is smiling and rushes Billy off the phone after he asked who was at her door. Victoria let's him in, they get to talking and what do you know, talking led to the bed. Mr. Band Man, leaves a note on the pillow telling her to let her hair down more and leaves. Victoria wakes to the letter and smiles and then there's a knock at the door. She trots her happy tail to the door saying "oh did you forget something" and opens the door and it was Billy standing there!!

Young and the Restless Update 3/25/19 - 3/29/19

I've decided to have a little fun and do weekly updates on the Young and the Restless. Let's try this out. Here is my first weekly update.

Last week on Y&R: well I guess Summer leaving the show might have been just a rumor. Her and Lola (Kyle Abbotts now ex) both were discharged from the hospital. Kyle told Lola that he married Summer so that she will do the transplant, now Lola is all heart broken and not talking to him.

Lola's brother Arturo was caught up in some mess with his brother, Det Ray, and his wife. Well, since Ray found out that Mia slept with Arturo a couple of months ago he put her out and ran to his new love, Sharon (a whole nother storyline...just wait). Well Mia told Arturo that if he doesn't help her and Ray get back together that she is going to tell his precious Abby what happened. Well Arturo told Abby himself and she went straight Carrie Underwood (look up song before he cheats) on his Truck and then broke up with him. So now she's all heart broken.

Back to Ray and Sharon. So, since Ray is so in love with Sharon now, he decided to help Nick and Billy lure JT out of hiding and it worked.  So JT was transported to the hospital since he was out cold due to the gas leak he caused at the Abbot Cabin and the Newman women were released from prison. Well come to find out that JT had a massive brain tumor causing him to be so mean and hateful. Christine decides to charge him with all kinds of stuff and now he's recovering from brain surgery in the prison infirmary. But before he was wheeled away, he did plea to Victoria and Reed for forgiveness but Reed, with his entitled behind, acted like the spoiled rich kid he was and lashed out at both parents that would cause a black kid to get beat down by his parents just as a reminder to never act like that in life.

Now many months ago Billy ran to tell on Cane to Lilly, who's in Jail, that Cane kissed Victoria. Now mind you Cane and Victoria ain't seen or talked to each other since then. Lilly told Cane not to come see her and she out of the blue sent him divorce papers FROM JAIL!! Where they do that at?? Shoot people in prison are looking for love (You should watch the train wreck called Love after Lock up). So now the Ashby clan are all out of whack and I am sure that this is what's going to lead to the death of Neil Winters.

Now Jack was dating the black chemist at Jabot supposedly named Kerry. Well, all the while she was employed with Jabot, she was actually working for Ashley. Yes, Ashley is BACK BABY. Well Kerry's real name is Dominique. This came out when some letters addressed to Dominique was being mailed to Jabot and Phyllis and Billy started getting suspicious. Kerry told Phyllis that Dominique was her non-paid intern. Phyllis thought Billy knew about it and was setting her up. Well another letter came for Dominique and Billy opened it and found out that all the Jabot's new products were with another company. He ran to Jack to get to the bottom of it. Jack lured Kerry to the Abbott mansion and called her out and asked who Dominique was. Kerry said you're looking at her in black woman fashion with a glass of wine like nothing was wrong, LOL. Ashley sent an anonymous text to the board calling an emergency board meeting. Well everyone is panicking trying to figure out what's going on, this is when Kerry has been reintroduced as Dominique and everyone is stunned and asked her who does she work for and Ashley strolls in and says ME and now we have to wait for next week’s episodes.
