Y&R Update 4/29 - 5/3

Monday 4/29: Words can't express the love that was displayed on today's episode of Y&R. It was not a scripted episode, it was the cast, including  Shemar Moore (Malcom),Victoria Rowell (Drucilla) and Mishael Morgan (Hillary), all sharing how they first met Kristoff and their wonderful interactions with him. Y&R showed interviews that Kristoff has done in the past speaking highly of his fellow cast. This episode had me laughing and crying. This was a great way to honor the late, Kristoff St. John

Tuesday 4/30At Newman Enterprises, Nikki is sitting behind Victor's desk doing some paperwork when Victoria walks in inquiring about her father. Nikki informs Victoria that Victor is adamant about them not knowing his whereabouts. Meanwhile, Sharon and Rey are cuddling on the couch at her place talking about the Winters family when Rey receives a text from Nikki needing to see him. Sharon inquires if it’s about Victor and he says he thinks so and leaves to go handle business. Later, Rey arrives at Newman, he and Nikki talk about her hiring him to find Victor and wants him to start ASAP. Rey returns to Sharon and informs her that he needs to leave for Vegas as soon as possible. Sharon seductively squeezes her way on the trip and an excited Rey obliges.
Meanwhile back at Newman, Nikki tells Victoria that Rey is going to Vegas tonight to start looking for Victor. The conversation takes a turn when Victoria shares that she and Billy are getting close again and that he even proposed and Nikki notices her apprehension and tells Victoria to tell it go and that she needs to go ahead and marry that man because life is too short. Later while Nikki is by herself she looks at her laptop to see some news about something going on in Vegas and Nikki immediately thinks that Victor has something to do with it.

Phyllis decided to pop up on Billy at Jabot. Billy asked what she was doing there and if she wants the secretary's job. They argue over the money that Billy said that he would give to her because she hasn’t received it yet. He told her that he would get it to her and when he does, everything is a wrap.

At the Abbott Mansion, Summer comes down the stairs and sees Kyle sitting on the couch. She makes a comment about thinking he would be at work since he threw her away after getting the parts he needed to save his precious Lola, they argue and didn't see Jack walk in. The argument continues with Summer saying that Lola can't give him what she can. Kyle stops her and says that he isn't going to let her bad mouth her and reminds her that the so called marriage is over and Jack interrupts, Summer runs upstairs. Kyle tells his dad that he doesn't know what to do because he is in love with Lola. Jack tells him to go handle his business and he will check on Summer. Summer comes down the stairs right after Kyle leaves and confirms with Jack that he left. They sit down and talk and Summer rants about how she married a man that was in love with another woman and that he isn't even giving it a year to try. Jack lets her know that love has no expiration. He then encourages her to take a vacation or go back to work at Newman while they go through a divorce and Summer stops him before Jack could finish the word divorce. Jack leaves and Summer calls her mother crying.

Kyle goes to visit Lola at Society and she thinks Kyle is there to end things with her and he says NOOO, he's ending things with Summer. Lola is excited about the news and they embrace each other in a loving hug. Lola asked how this is going to go and Kyle says it will start with her moving out then they will proceed to the divorce. They share a passionate kiss and Kyle tries to sweet talk her into leaving work but Lola says that she can't leave until late and he asked if she would like a late night surprise. Kyle is trying to get him some Lola tonight.

At the GCAC, Summer and Phyllis are talking in her hotel suite. Phyllis asked what was wrong and Summer shares that she was right about Kyle and that he is leaving her for his precious Lola. Summer goes on about how her and Kyle's love was the perfect love and not the love that he shares with Lola. Summer is telling her mother that she is going to fight for her man (yes, the one that don't want her. Poor child is setting herself up for failure). Phyllis tries to convince Summer that she needs to make a clean break from Kyle. Summer says you know what you're right and talks about how she is going to miss working at her new job. The light bulb goes off in Phyllis' head and she tells Summer to share what's going on at Jabot and Summer tells her about Jabot collective and Phyllis tells her to fight to keep the job. You know that Phyllis has something up her sleeve.

At Chancellor Park, Lola is sitting on a bench, holding on to her necklace smiling when Summer shows up. Summer congratulates her on Society and tells her that she doesn't blame her for the issues with her and Kyle. Lola tries to gives Summer some peace by letting her know that Kyle does appreciate what she did, Summer seems surprised at the kind words. Lola makes her exit by telling Summer that she has to get back to Society. Back at Society, Lola strolls into the prep kitchen and sees a single rose and letter from Kyle and she's all giddy. Now Kyle is somewhere with a contractor planning something special for Lola.

At the Coffee House, Lauren and Phyllis are having coffee while Phyllis is briefly telling Lauren about her upcoming adventure in online accessories. Lauren is thrilled to hear the news and then guess who struts in.....Mia. They share kind pleasantries and Lauren offers her seat to Mia because she needs to leave. Mia takes Lauren's seat and Phyllis notices Mia's sunglasses on her head and asked to see them. Phyllis compliments Mia on her knock off glasses, and yes she called them knock offs in front of Mia, and said that she could barely tell that they weren't legit and then informed Mia that she is exactly the woman that she wants to target for her new business, women who want to look like a million bucks but can't afford it. Mia let the shade go and tells Phyllis that she is now a single woman. Phyllis lets her know that she knows what starting over looks like then asked Mia to make a list of all of the places she buys her accessories. Phyllis ain't trying to be friendly, she is trying to start a business.

At Society, Victoria and Billy are viewing the menu when Billy tells her that there is something that they need to talk about. Victoria said she already knows what it is, he gave Phyllis the money and Billy looks dumbfounded. Billy asked how she knows and she let him know that his body language gave it away whenever Phyllis' name came up. Billy told Victoria that he let Phyllis know that everything is over and she won't have anything to worry about. They continue to have a pleasant meal.

Later at Jabot, Summer shows up to inform Jack that she wants to keep her job and Jack asked if she can handle it with Kyle still working there and Summer says that she can. Jack said wants to think on it and Summer leaves.

Later at the Crimson Lights, Sharon walks in and sees Mia. They talk about the baby and Sharon lets her know that if it's Reys, he will be there for the baby but then she threw in the low blow. Sharon called her out and told her that they know the only reason Mia is being so nice is so that Rey doesn't turn her in for what she did to Lola. Mia is taken back that Sharon knows. Mia wants to know why Rey told Sharon and Sharon let her know that she and Rey don't keep secrets. Mia informed Sharon that this should be a teaching moment, letting her know that Mia could be dangerous. But Sharon continued by saying that if she knows any better that she would stay out of her way.

Lola tells Abby that Summer was actually mature and Abby seemed surprised. While they were talking, Lola receives a text from Kyle and she smiles. Abby asked what that smile was about and she informs her that Kyle is planning something special for them.
